Hello Stampers, I am hosting my annual shoebox swap in South Milwaukee this October and have emailed information to past participants. I have a few extra openings this year due to scheduling conflicts. In case emails have changed, I am posting as well here. If you attended my event previously and would like to join in again, please pm me. If you are a referral from someone who previously attended, please pm me as well. If you are interested in learning more about it, I can email you guidelines before you decide you're able to participate. I take pride in this event being top-notch, but I'm only able to do so because of the amazingly generous participants that attend (ladies, you know who you are!!!!) So, if you're a top-notch swapper, can follow a few courteous rules, and have a good heart, you'll certainly fit right it.

It is with great excitement that I am pleased to invite you to participate in my 5th annual Shoebox Swap. This year the event will benefit NODCC, National Organization for Disorders of the Corpus Callosum, a valuable resource for all families dealing with disibilities similar to my son Andrew�s.
Andrew has a disability called ACC. He�s missing the largest single mass in the brain that allows the right and left hemispheres to communicate, thus leaving him with many challenges.
I am quite honored to host a charity event, on behalf of my son Andrew, to raise funds for NODCC. Please visit www.nodcc.org to find out more about this wonderful non-profit organization. It truly is a worthy cause!

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION (past participants only): Preferred past participants have priority to register for the event. Email me at [email protected] of your intention to participate and send in your form/fee before the open registration starts!
OPEN REGISTRATION: The event will open up to others on September 1st. I prefer to fill this event through referrals. I already know that there will be open spots this year so please contact me as soon as possible if you have a stamping friend or two that would be interested and would follow the criteria for the event.
All spots will be assigned as registration and fees are received. No spots will be held without payment.

I wanted to let everyone out there know that I have at least 15 openings this year due to scheduling conflicts. If you want to get in, let me know. If I don't get at least 35 people registered by September 10, I will have to cancel the event!! It's for a great cause so if you are interested please contact me asap!
wow!!! i do hope you get more people registered!! i'd hate for you to have to cancel as this is such an awesome and fun event! and all for a great cause! i look forward to it!!
Hello Ladies, Well, so far only 18 registered which means the event will most likely be rescheduled. I am calling the bank tomorrow to see if I can reserve the room for Saturday, February 12th. I hope I can. If this date does not work out I'll let you all know tomorrow. I'm really sorry to have to reschedule but it just doesn't make sense to have it when almost half the gals have scheduling conflicts. And I'm also competing with a scrapbook expo that weekend in Milw. SU has already sent a fabulous package of goodies, I've purchased many items already (in quantities of 40!) and the ball is already rolling. I promise that even though it's moving to a new date, I am working very hard to make this the best shoebox ever!
If you have registered for the event.....THANK YOU! .....hold tight....I'll announce the new date tomorrow and then you can let me know if I should hold your spot for the February event.

South Milwaukee Shoebox Swap February 12, 2011 UPDATE:
So far, 24 gals committed (20 officially registered) which means only 16 spots left to fill! Pass the word, this is the first year the event is open to anyone interested!
Just picked up some sweet treat donations today from Culvers for EVERY participant :eek:
Looking for additional donations for the raffle....please spread the word on this worthy cause so we can have an AWESOME raffle for the NODCC!!
