Sorry if this has already been discussed...but did anyone receive name tags in the mail? I saw on the website that they would come a week or two before Regionals but I never got anything. It said there will be a "special services" desk or something... I'm wondering if we'll ALL be headed there?!?!
Okay so I just saw the 4/18 addition to the note on the details so forgive me for being so silly.. i guess i have been stamping to long lately trying to get done.. brain fried..

Not received anything here either, and as of yesterday Jody had not either.
I did see on the other thread about signing up though that someone mentioned heading to desk A so I am guessing that some have received it.

I called DS yesterday and asked about nametags and the lady said that she had heard that a lot of people going to the VA Beach Regionals did not and would not be getting nametags mailed to them, she didnt know why, didnt ask...
She said to be sure to print out the page with your confirmation number on it and your name and that would be what you need to hand to the registration desk and that will generate a nametag for you.
no name tag here either, but i didn't really know i was supposed to be getting one anyway!!!
my name tag, assuming there is one waiting for me when i get there, will say "Margaret" anyway, and NO ONE calls me that (except maybe my mother on occasion). So I might have to make my own that will say Marni. Wonder if there is time for that in the next 4 hours before I leave?

I am so looking forward to the dinner all my swaps are packaged and ready to go - still working on the Door Prize - I keep adding things to it

Oh man! My door prize is going to be so lame compared to everyone else. I am a new demo so I don't have anything up my sleeve as being creative. Oh well. I'll do the best with what I have. This is my first anything with SU. Next year will be better.

Sherri,
Check the SU website for events. It will tell you what you are registered for. You can open that event and view your confirmation. From there you can print it.

WOW WOW WOW the excitement is just bubbling in me.. Are all of you going to the dinner tomorrow going to the FRI session?? I am signed up for SAT and so is Betty. I am thinking we are going to get the juicy details from you guys right?! THe confirmation does not saying anything new other than the street address for the place. All the other documents are just repeated in it.. WHAT it does say is the hullabalou about the nametag dealy!! Hope this helps!

Sherri, you probably printed it out when you registered. It is the same. Just go to the SU website and click on events>register>events registration (on the right)>then it shows you what events you are currently registered for. Click on view and it will show you your registration and has a printable version.

Sherry (sherrylc05) and I are going on Saturday
I can't believe the dinner is tomorrow (I am more excited about that than the Regionals...)!!
I have got to get off of this computer and stamp some more cards for Regionals!!!!!!!!! oh and make dinner and vaccum:(
My dinner swaps are done! There is glitter everywhere- but I can clean that up on Monday when I am done with everything else. I even managed to get a door prize together, however I did not make it- but if you get it- you can make something with it! ;-) I have the supplies to make my hostess a gift for my workshop and have a pretty good plan in my head on what I am going to do. I am really nervous about it- but hopefully I will get some great ideas at Regionals on Saturday- and my enthusiasm will get me through it.
gotta go to bed- see y'all tomorrow night at dinner- I am really excited (now that everything is done!!)
Yikes! It's after 11:00 p.m. and I just finished my Mother's Day chipboard class with my regular stamping group. We had a lot of fun but now I need to get back to finishing my swaps for the dinner and Va. Beach Regionals. Should I do them now or get up at 5:00 a.m. again tomorrow? I'm runnin' on empty here. Can't wait to meet all of you tomorrow night!
No worries...I am at the hotel and counting down 8 1/2 hours till "go time" I still don't have my swaps done!! It's all good...they'll be done and glitterfied!! See ya'll at dinner!!

HI Jimmi! It was so nice to meet you and everyone else in VA!
I got to meet my ribbon dealer (and Stampin' Idol) Jody, Stampin Marni (such a sweetie!), Karen and Lori (two of my Saturday Table Buddies- love ya ladies!!) and I would be completely remiss not to mention Karen and Tracy.... (you two are a hoot.. you make me want to move to Texas!). There were too many lovely ladies there to mention everyone, so if I missed listing your name, don't fret, I still enjoyed meeting you!
I got the most awesome door prize from Jimmi- I was going to send you a PM thanking you, but thought you deserved a public thanks!
And last, but certainly not least- a HUGE thanks to Cyndi for planning the dinner!!

Those of us that live in the area need to get together again...maybe in Williamsburg...an hour from VA Beach and an hour from Richmond...hummm
now off to stalk some galleries
YES!! Me and my friend Stacy who was there and my upline Melanie who couldn't be there want to do a shoebox swap here in Williamsburg!! We've been *thinking about it* for quite some time... We need to get our butts in gear! We're going to a shoebox swap in NoVA in a few weeks so we'll know more after we see how that works...sounds like the hostess is *really* organized!!

Jimmi,
Thanks so much for taking care of this! We have been so so busy. I just got back a bit ago from taking the girls to the airport. I so hated to see them go! We had such a great time!
It was a wonderful time Friday and I am so glad that everyone had such a good time! All the cards were great and the door prizes unbelievable!! Thanks so much everyone for making this great!.

The dinner Friday was awesome even though I got there late and only had card fronts (instead of full cards). You all were so sweet and I had just a wonderful time. The swaps were all beautiful and so inspirational. Count me in for stamping in Williamsburg. It is only 35 minutes from where I live.
I had so much fun Friday night- thank you so much, Cyndi for getting it organized. You did a great job keeping everything straight! I was really glad to meet everyone and the door prizes were awesome! I am going to upload into the gallery later my prize- but it was a beautiful memory book and a coaster calendar for 2008. I showed it at my (first) workshop yesterday and it got a lot of "wows". The swapping was wonderful too! I stayed up late even though I was exhausted just to look at them again more closely. Wow! great job, ladies- every single card was great!
