I agree about having it before it could snow. It takes the fun out of the anticipation if you are worrying about weather the will be bad or not. I hope you decide to leave it in October.

Kathie! What's the scoop? We must have the Cedar Lodge again, that place was PERFECT. Early/mid October works best for me, any later and I won't be able to leave Dane County (due to baby #2 in late November). Avoiding the snow is also a good thing!

Room rates: $99 a night / room includes 2 double beds and 4 waterpark passes

I am going to sign contract on Friday so cannot book room until then at that rate- you could and then ask for a revision;).

I am thinking $25 per person will include munchies, crunchies and drinks(kinda like a lite dinner) and doorprizes.Please feel free to bring a friend(paying friend of course). Limited to fifty people.

I will post a registration form here by Saturday evening I promise(have to be to work by 4am tomarrow so I need to get my butt to bed soon).

Okay there is the start and I will have more details by the end of the week! NOW I AM EXCITED the 5th Annual Gathering WOOOHOOO!!

sorry gabbygab but that is the only date that lodge had that I had so I went for it-tell your dear husband that we will all sing for him maybe even stamp him a little gift

LOL! no( drinking won't start until Friday) finally having a really good day- I took a transfer in the company I work for - I think it will be a good move- lateral but a healthier peace of mind!!

schrades....I didn't get a message back...so take back the 'poop' name! You have way better names to call me after our road trip to Minneapolis Regionals last year...!!

Did schrades tell you all about her Paul Abdul sighting??? No sh*t--she left the stamping table during stamp time at MN Regionals to use the restroom, and since the American Idol auditions were going on at the same time at the SAME PLACE, the bathrooms were full, so being the savvy bathroom gal she is, schrades went UP the escalator to the next level of the convention center. She walked in to the bathroom, and there was Paula Abdul herself, standing at the sink, washing her hands or looking at herself in the mirror or something. Schrades didn't blink an eye--she just said, "hey, Paula" and went about her business!!!

WHAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH! My SIL is encroaching on my stamping by choosing the 13th to get married. That sucks SOOO much. I am a charter member of this event and I can't go!! Mycattracks and Gabbygab, Joann and Kelly won't be able to go either. The SIL should pick another day;)

Hi Laurie - generally this swap is for card fronts, and once in awhile for full cards. Schrades can chime in for further clarification, but I wanted to at least let you know you were on the right track. ;)

Yah!!! You had us very worried there was going to be no-thang this year schrades - thank goodness that was just a filthy rumor!!! I wouldn't have been able to STAND it, it's been too long since Madtown and seeing everyone!
