Donna - our stamp club dates are the 2nd tuesday of each month. So September will be the 8th, October the 13th, November 10th and December the 8th...Then we'll start a new club for January! My guess is that now SU is back to only 1 catty per year, our club will probably be Jan or Feb - thru Oct or Nov...not sure of that yet though...wanda will let us know when we get closer to the end of this club! See you on the 8th, if not sooner!!
Oh yeah! I am all about weekends! And I extended mine this week by taking of tomorrow and Friday! Me time and stamping time WOO HOO!:mrgreen:
Oh you lucky duck you!! I'd SO love to have a couple "me" days!! i've only got 2 vacation days left though, so I've got one day for our Chattanooga convention and the other is in December when family and I go to Pigeon Forge! In 2 years I get an additional week though...sooo looking forward to that! I'll be able to sprinkle a day here and there...will LOVE that!! Enjoy your extended weekend! And think about us poor saps who have to work :mrgreen:

I am so blessed to have the flexibility to take off when I NEED it. lol We have had a stressful summer here at work so I am pretty stressed. You ladies popped onto my screen at the perfect time to help with that though and did not even know it...can not wait to meet you all! Had to be God putting me in touch with like minded folks!
btt - hi everyone! I'm so happy to meet you all. If anybody ever comes to Knoxville or the Smokies, be sure and give me a call. We have a super scrapbook store in Pigeon Forge, also Hobby Lobby, Michael's, AC Moore, all good places to shop. There is aloso a place in Maryville, but I forget the name of it - I will check and let y'allo know about it.
I love the super scrapbook store in Pigeon Forge. When we are up there, my DH will let me go there while he either wanders the shopping area or goes to Joe Muggs for coffee (or he stays at the condo)...LOL He knows not to go with me or we will argue!;)
Hi again, Sorry I didn't get back on yesterday, but am here now. My group is called GAS - stands for gathering and stamping. Just ask me about GAS! heehee
We get together once a month, do a project of some sort or work on our own stuff. September's meeting will be the 7th, Labor Day 10 am - 12 noon at my house this month. I am located in Seymour (short drive from Maryville, blessedbygrace), anyone interested in coming, pm me and I'll give you directions. We will be making a stair-step card - fall theme. All free, bring your own adhesives and tools is all. Everyone welcome.

Hey Sunshine you know the Aleve-D? Didn't you say that that box you buy with 10 tablets cost $8.00? I was in Sam's today getting salad stuff and stopped by the pharmacy there. They had a box of $20 for $7.12 a box!! I got one. Thought I would pass it along to you if you didn't know they had them there that cheap. I have turned a few girls at work onto Aleve-D too.
Hope that you are all doing well. Can't wait for Friday!! We have a football game in Lincoln County Friday night, then Sat taking a board book class at Sassy's then Sunday a stamp camp thing at Sherri's....looking forward to all three. Hoping to work on some swaps this weekend too.....time will tell. Angela

Hi ladies! This day got away from me quick! I spent most of the day in bed, I think I have a sinus infection or the summer flu. Who knows. But, my whole day was spent mostly in bed so hopefully by tomorrow I will be up and moving Thanks for your well wishes.
If anyone is interested, I do a calendar swap every year. Usually it's with a group of ladies that I have known for 5 or 6 years. We are from all over the states and met on various scrapping sites. This year, we have few that can not commit to the calendar and we have a some spots open. Let me know if you are interested in taking a spot. We make 6x6 pages with a calendar on them. I will attach a picture of the one I did for 09's calendar. You would pick one month and make 12 (keep one for yourself) In the past we have bound the top, used o-rings, and just left them plain. This year I will leave them plain again. We have May, July, and August open. Nita has been in this one a few times and Angela as well. Maybe they can post a pic of what they sent in the years past. Please send me a pm if you are interested.
ETA: The dog days of summer is for August, I just didn't add the calendar in that pic yet.

Donna - my sinus infection started out with a really weird sore throat and with me having ZERO energy...i was curious as to what was going on...then KABAM...Sinus infection...take it easy, get some rest - drink lots of liquids and go ahead and start that Aleve-D that Angela and Sunshine are dealers for!! Or mucinex...that stuff really works for me, but it's pretty expensive! Hope you feel better soon!

WOW Denise...any words of wisdom on how to keep from getting the flu...besides the obvious...hand washing...I'm such a germ-a-phobe anyway - I think I wash my hands all the time...would it be rediculous if I wore a surgical mask around town?? :-)

Sounds like the perfect weekend to me! I am going to do that as much as I can too. I have a huge stack of images that have been colored that I need to do something with.
Hey ladies... I am feeling a lot better. I just needed a lot of rest for a few days, now it's playing catch up! I hope you feel better Donna, like Kristi said, after resting and taking Advil Cold and Sinus (no AleveD yet) that did the trick. I really thought I had the flu..ughh But thank goodness I didn't!
The weekend is going to be pretty relaxing I hope. There is a game tonight but I'm not going since it's away. I know Nita will be there since it's against her home town.. sorry Nita, but Go Blaze!! Good luck to our guys on the field. I hope it stays dry enough for them.
Angela and I are in a CTMH club that meets once a month. The demo is hosting a crop on Sept. 11th (here in M'boro) and I think she might have a few spots open ($10 I think) if anyone is interested. It's the same weekend as the Nashville Convention.

Sounds like everyone is feeling rough this week. Glad you are feeling better Kelly. Hope Donna is better. We have had a couple of cases get to some of our students here in Cannon Co. WOW! What a week! Hope I get to scrap like I want to this weekend. Gonna clean out the garage though, too. Yippee!
