I have not...I emailed an FYI to the group from the Stampede...Don't know why I didn't think of that before. :rolleyes: I'm not sure if you still will be able to fit in a last minute gal or not but at least they will know about it.
I got an email from Tracey tonight about this and would like to check with a couple friends and my hubby (see if he is up to an all day event with the kids). Is there still time to sign up???? I need to know before I make phone calls tomorrow.

Hey Girls-Right now we have about 20 ladies participating in the Card Frenzy. Becky got called out of town to help family so I don't know if she received anymore entries today. Even if the deadline is past, I would like to try to fill the other slots in the next couple of days. If you have friends who are interested in coming, let us know. Why don't we go ahead and make enough card packets for 25 people, plus bring 2 extra cards already made up, one for the soldiers and one for your card's work station for an example.
Please make cards from good cardstock, it doesn't have to be Stampin Up and try to use one embellishment. (ribbon, brad, eyelet, etc) It would be good if you can make up a recipe for your card for each baggie and a copy of your card on it , if possible. Put your name on the baggie incase someone has a question at a later date, they can refer back to the baggie if they keep the card in it, to see who made it to know who to contact.
So happy you all are participating. We are going to have a wonderful time. There are several of you I haven't met yet, but I look forward to having the chance to get acquainted with you.

Good to hear from you. Yes we still have some slots and we will still be glad to sign up more in the next couple of days. The ladies at the church are preparing our food and snacks so they are wanting a final head count soon. Check with your hubby and friends and let me know. Would be great to see you again.
Ladies, this sounds like so much fun. I wish I could make it but we will be in Florida. I am sure that you all will have a ball together. Be sure to post pics so we can see all of the fun you had.

Oh how sweet Heaven sounds when you have sent a loved one there.
I hope everyone had a Happy 4th! WE had an awesome day...it was hot but not miserable and the breeze that come through from time to time was perfect.
I am working on my swaps...one of my gf's has her completely done, and the other two are almost done. Thought I better get on the ball! lol I'm always the last to finish projects of this nature. But this time I do refuse to finish the night before the Card Frenzy. ;)
Hopefully, everyone that was interested found their way to this thread. No thanks to my vague email. (:rolleyes

Shirley, Glad you have your card ready. I wish mine was finished guess when my precious grandchildren go home I will be able to finish mine. Glad everything else was taken care of early!!!!!
I think we have 3-4 slots open. I have had several responses from some of the girls from Collinsville that wanted to come, but they were unable to work it out.
Some were going to be on vacation as well.
Do you have your cards ready? If so, you are way a head of me. I am sure tomorrow will be the day that I start cutting.

Yippee, yippee, yippee. I have got all of mine cut and now I have to sort them and put them into baggies. I am closer to just playing now. Calvary Bible Church, 1649 S. Cherry St. West Frankfort IL
From I-57, get off on exit 65, go East down Main St. (this is also Route 149)
You will pass the Anna Gray High Rise on the left hand side of the street which is in the 1400 block of Main St. Once you pass that,look for Cherry ST. Go South(right) on Cherry St. Go all the way to the end of Cherry St and Calvary Bible church is on the right.
I had some mistakes on the directions, but they are now corrected in comment #75 The name of the church is Calvary Bible Church, the exit is #65. The Anna Gray High Rise is in the 1400 block of Main.
Four more days. I finally have all my card kits in baggies and ready to go. Hopefully I haven't forgotten anything. Becky and I have been busy getting things together for games and planning a schedule. The ladies at the church are busy getting things ready for the menu they have planned for us.
Well, I am off to finish up some last minute things. Can't wait to see you all.
