My husband said there must have been alot of eggs laid on Saturday cuz he says that we are a bunch of cackling hens. All we do is talk and laugh loud. When I have a gathering he has learned to snore over us. Bo can vouch for that.
Yep ~ Cheryl's hubs just tunes out all the cackling hen noises ... I guess he's used to us now. LOL

Ah!!! I certainly understand that. When our little band of PA stampers get together we call it a "Gigglefest". We do more laughing than stamping.
BWHAAAAAA! LOL! Thanks for that Lou Ann, almost spewed coffee all over the screen!
LOL!! Well when you really think about it, we do! How many chicken stamps do we have and how many chickens have been on our recipe cards...LOL!!
Nancy, hope you rested today and are feeling better. Seems like my cold that was almost gone came back yesterday. I hear that people are having a difficult time getting rid of colds this winter.
We made maybe 2 boxes of Mother's and Father's Day cards today with the help of about 12 people. Sunday/tomorrow at 9 a.m. we're going back to the VFW to try to get them all ready (envelopes, slips, baggies) to ship out. Since I came home I've been making Father's Day cards.

Yesterday I thought I had it kicked. Hardly any coughing at all. But today, the cough seems to be back. My DH seems to think I need to see the doctor... I suppose he's right. Damn, I hate when he's right.
I got some stuff done today, but not enough. So glad I have tomorrow too. I have LOTS more to do. Fun and not so fun stuff. I'll tackle the fun stuff first!!
I do have an appt. with someone who wants custom invites for a bridal shower. And possibly a complete wedding package. Am I crazy to try to tackle a project like that? Especially since I have 3 more events to stamp for, on top of my monthly commitments.
Sorry I didn't come play today. I'm glad you had lots of help though.

matthew has had his cough/cold for more than 2 1/2 weeks. of course he has a bad schedule. he is getting up @ 2am. playing war of warcraft til 5-6 am. then sleeping til class. he has no classes before 11am. but still!
Wendy's gig isn't until April. Haven't settled on a def. date yet.
I might just take you up on the help for the wedding stuff. Stay tuned!
Tomorrow ... I need to tackle the PILE of paperwork on my desk (actually 2 piles), do the taxes, and maybe, if there's time, Kyla's FAFSA. Oh.... and balance the checkbook and pay bills. I'll watch the Nascar race while I tackle this huge endeavor. Wish me LUCK please.
Today I made 2 more baby frames, for the twins, all the laundry, dishes, dust/vaccuum, haircut for the DH, made a double batch of laundry detergent, and cleaned my craft room.

Nancy, that was definitely NOT the resting I was thinking of for you! ONLY watching NASCAR in your jammies all day is more of what I had in mind...Oh, DH was shouting cheers at the TV during the SU game yesterday!
If you have allergies, this weather is bad for them because we haven't had a long period of frozen ground so the mold is still in the air. For me one day I feel all the nose, eyes, sinus allergy stuff (irritated by our employee coming inside stinking of cig. smoke...I think he must finish his last puff right near the door) and the next day I feel like I have a cold. Woke up with a stuffy nose this morning.
Back to the VFW soon to try to get all the cards ready for shipping. I made a batch of Father's Day cards while I watched TV last night. When I get back from that I have a ton of laundry to fold while washing more. As well as put away (HA! Yeah, right..) all the stamping stuff I've pulled out to do the last two Saturdays of stamping. THEN it's on to ATC Club, monthly Rolodex, and Poughkeepsie stamping.

I think that's my issue... so much walking outside, some days I can hear the weeze. You try to do something good and exercise, but wonder if I'm doing more damage by inhaling all of that dust and mold:confused:;)

Sounds like a "fun" time at your house, don't you and Allen work too hard.

Don't ever question exercise... it is always good! ;)
That being said, I didn't exercise at all last week, due to a raging headache. It took me until Friday to realize it was probably allergies.

LOL! I don't feel horrible, just tired now, but there is no work for me to do so far so I'm bored. Ken called in sick this morning so DH would not have been happy to be here alone today. We drove in together so I can't even leave until 5 p.m. Whine, whine, whine... I have so much stamping or putting away of my craft mess I could be doing if I was home! Or a nap sounds good right now.

I tried the local walk-in clinic today. Then, found out it closed last Wednesday. Luckily, it's right in my doctor's office, so I made an appt. for tomorrow morning.
I've been fighting a cold/cough thing for a month. I think it's now bronchitis...?? My DH has insisted that I see a doctor.

I just checked the list, I made it.....Yipee......Nancy so I have a confirmed reservation to ride with you right? I have to check to make sure I can have friday off....
Stayed home yesterday and did nothing but blow my nose and watch TV with Zekey. I feel a little better today but still have head congestion so I'm staying home. If I go to work I know I'll just start coughing my head off as soon as I start answering the phone.
Yep..... BAD case of bronchitis. Only took a second with the stethoscope to diagnose. I have an inhaler and an antibiotic. I felt 100% better within HOURS of taking my first dose. Had a chest Xray, just in case, but no pneumonia.
I'm still pretty tired, but probably back to normal tomorrow. Hardly coughed at all today.
