I just got back from doing 8 errands including Walmart :( . SOOOO glad to be done. We're going out to dinner tonight to celebrate DD's making it into the National Technical Honor Society again this year. She's leaning toward Outback, YUM! We need to get our screened porch cleaned up and the cushions brought up for the chairs and glider, but I don't think that will be happening today. Tomorrow the kids will be around in the afternoon so I can use some child labor if I wait ;) . Off to put the stuff I picked up away...
I'm on "vacation" today. So far, I have 5 loads of laundry done (and folded!), dishes done, floors swept and vaccumed and 8 boys in my pool/backyard..... not such a relaxing vacation.
I did sit by the pool and color some images that I stamped at Linda's last night though....

I'm at work! WAAAHHHHH!!!!! At least Nancy stopped by to see me so that was fun! I have a few Snapware for sale at $3.25 each (tax included). Maybe DH will take me to see Sherk tonight.

JUST when I find something I like it's discontinued!! If anyone see these anywhere let me know/buy for me: Advantus Corporation Cropper Hopper Mini Cube Embellishment Boxes 4/pkg. I have the other size but I want the CUBE size. I searched online but I only found them in England, I think. AAGGGHHHH!!! I'm taking my ribbon off their spools and winding them up, using my new Ribbon Spooler, to fit inside the mini boxes and I need the cubes to fit the wider ribbon. This is all part of my organizing strategy so I can fit all my s*#*# in Craftyland. Craftyland could go on "Hoaders: Buried Alive" in its present state! LOL!
Gayla, if you are home tomorrow, can I stop by on the way to Turning Stone, or the way back, to pick up my refills?

I have almost a shopping bag full of cardboard ribbon spools!! I have to say that the packaging of craft items does make my save-the-environment side cringe!! I just heard about this site today so I'm going to check it out: http://ecogreencrafts.com/

arlene somewhere here on SCS. there is a cute box using empty spools as the top & bottom. box is just acetate around the spools. spools covered w/ designer paper.
ladies i have passed one alot to linda. but like arlene i have easily 50 or more. spoke up before they get trashed

NOW I have to save the ribbon spools?? I was going to put them in the recycle bin for Tues. morning's trash pick up. Since I don't do 3D swaps I doubt that I'll save them unless someone else needs them. Speak up now!

wow Arlene...did you run out of underwear already? I thought you only do laundry once a month or so...
DH and I went to a benefit dinner last night. One of my former stamping ladies and MOPS mom has a daughter at Boston Children's hospital and not doing well. She's 11 years old, has cerebral palsy and having trouble digesting. She has lost a lot of weight and very weak. Her DH spends all week in Boston, and she goes up on the weekends, and they also have two other little ones. So no one is working in the house right now. I hope the benefit dinner helps offset some of the stress! And DH won the homemade birdhouse at the silent auction. It was a really lovely event.
We are leaving soon to travel to VT for the weekend. Visiting friends and bike racing, of course! Have a great weekend, everyone!
