A 3-D swap is one where you make a gift type item, something not a card. Since they tend to be more involved time wise and cost wise we limit those groups.
Anyone needing a room in the area for this event is welcome to join us at the Comfort Inn in Cheektowaga. We have a group rate set up. More info can be found in POST 84 in this thread ...
OK, reservations just made for the Towanda, Pa group. Four of us coming and spending Sat night at the Comfort Inn. Yayyyy! We girls were together last night working on our ATC cards. We're thinking maybe if the ATC numbers are high & split into smaller groups...maybe we would want to participate in 2 groups of trades. Tracy, maybe you could give us some input on that? Is that even possible? We are so excited! Left for work today but decided we had bad attitudes so we came back home. Darn, I was forced to work on my shoebox Don't ya just hate it??.....NOT Nancy...thank you for all your footwork on the hotel!!
At this point I do not anticipate splitting any of the swaps. There are still people left who I don't have final word from but the groups all look manageable.

Tracy, Can you tell me if you received Judy Pousen's (Retired2stamp) registration form. She wanted to make sure you got it?
Thanks for the update. Judy and I are sitting here laughing about the ATC #s...our group, trying to be proactive, planned for about 40. Judy's are almost done so if the number don't go up we're hoping we can sell them on the secondary market. LLLLOOOOOLLLLLL!!!!!

Yeah, we know the numbers will change but we laughed because we usually
procrastinate. We decided since this will be a big group not to wait unti the last minute so we guesstimated (now I'm know why I haven't hit the lottery). I'd rather have too many and not enough then have to go back and make more. I'm usually sick of my projecct by the time I'm done.
Yeah...Mary Ann is sold on ATCs now and this is her 1st time making/trading. The ones she's done for Buffalo are so cute and she's made 2 others too that are adorable. She's hooked, right Mary Ann!! ;)
Mary Ann....... if you have enough still to swap out, of the others, many of us can bring our stash for you to swap with us. I have many extras from swaps (that I make just for the purpose of random swapping). Post it and they will come ...

Yes Lou Ann, I'm having more fun with these ATC's. Thank you Nancy for the suggestion. Yes, I would love to swap with other girls from previous swaps! My ATC trades & shoebox are all but done. Once I get recipe cards done, I will do more of the two I made for our girls. I SO look forward to this get-together. I feel pretty lucky to have gotten hooked up with you girls! Happy stampin'!

Just finished my shoebox...2 completed and the kits are made up!! All I have to do is pack a few things I'll be using until then. Back to the ATCs.
Tracy, For my shoebox I'll need a Cuttlebug or Big Shot. Does someone usually bring one for everyone to use (set-up like a "station") or should I bring mine? Tx.
