I am so ready to go. I've got mine all cut, all the layers and the ribbon and the brads etc. Now I'm thinking of bagging each one separately so there won't be any confusion as to who takes what.

Man! I am totaly bummed out! I thought Tasha was going to wait until the last minute so I saved part of mine to do the day before & now I see she is finished!

I haven't even started cutting my stuff out!!! YIKES, I better get started. Emily, I am not making extras. If they mess up, then they will just have to flip the cardstock over. (Am I being mean?) Anyway. . . I have a question. Are ya'll bringing your stampin' scrub/mist to leave with your shoebox?

Yes, you are supposed to bring your scrub and mist to leave with your card.
Hey Emily....alot of us have NEVER done one of these before....so maybe you could post a quick list of things we HAVE to bring. Cuz once I get there I can't run back to Oregon to grab what I forgot!!! ;)

well.. i am GHETTO. im bringing a paper plate with a wet rag, and a paper plate with a dry rag. i dont like stampin scrub.. so i dont own one.

I use a generic scrubber from Michaels and I put the mist spray refill in a bottle that had a different cleaner in it before, so don't feel too ghetto. Mine is only partially SU. And my scrubber is permanently stained too. Oh, and my sponges are permanently stained from years of use. I was thinking of cutting up a bath sponge so it would look new. I found some at the dollar store and they seem to have the same texture as the SU sponges. Ghetto is good!:p

Great list I would add: a door prize- if we all bring one we all walk away with one, a pair of scissors (you never know) I have little cute purple ones, some music cause we are gonna need some music to groove to as we stamp, film for camera (or memory card)!!
Seriously dude. The whole Bud Light thing is a friggin joke. I don't drink 1/2 of what you guys think I do. Trust me...I do not have to have BL in order to stamp.

Hey Shanon and Granny, You know as strict as the airlines and security are, are you both bringing scissors. I actually mailed all of my stuff today to my daughters in Dallas because I figured even my ribbon that I already have cut, security might think I would try to strangle someone with it and they would take it away from me. I had to laugh over that one thinking that we could do some real damage on an airline with our 6" pieces of cut ribbon and our little paper snips and of course the brads and who knows who we might give a paper cut to. If you guys need to mail your scissors or any other dangerous objects, PM me and I will give you my daughters address and you can mail them to her and we will bring them to you Saturday morning.

You are a sweety Sandy. I am not bringing scissors. My stuff is cut and ready to go. Hopefully the girls that are local will bring scissors just in case. Are you bringing any stamps on the plane to entertain yourself for the 5hr flight?

No, I mailed those also. I need room for my return trip for any shopping I might be doing while I am there. And dang, it cost me $17.00 to ship including insurance. Of course I had to insure my stamp sets and all of the stuff that goes with it.

YUCKY la la!! I think mine is also about 5 hours but I have to fly in from Hawaii to CA which is another 5 hours!
Boy I wish I was flying to Hawaii. I think your flight is five or six hours to California. And then from there to DFW another five hours. That's some serious travel time.

OMFG! I had no idea.... NO IDEA that some of y'all were coming from so far!!!! a FIVE hour flight??? That's CRAZY!!! I better get busy on my shoebox swaps..... so y'all won't be disappointed in us Texas girls!
