Sandy - if you get a chance to get a few more charms - I would love to get a dog one for my friend Kathy, and a coffee one would be great if you can figure out how to get them to fit around our jumbo tape runners!
I figured it out today. I was so excited. I will try to post a picture tomorrow afternoon while Sami is down for her nap. It is sooooo hard to bead while she is up.
Hi ladies. Sounds like a really fun time yesterday. I am enjoying looking at all the pictures. Thanks to everyone who took the time to take the pics. Anyone who is missing a Close to Cocoa marker, Katherine said she ended up with an extra one. She said she will get it back to you asap, if you just let one of us know. I need to know what you guys are talking about with the charms. Did someone make a charm holder yesterday?

Thank you to everyone who came Saturday! It was such a fun day (: Sandy I love those charms! Autumn do you have a dealer for the charms? Are you able to get them wholesale? If not, I could score some for you (: I am VERY interested in having some made for my website!!!! Let me know what you girls come up with. I wish I could make it Saturday ):
*Dee I would post a picture, but I am having problem uploading pictures from my camera today.
I am posting charms on my web site as we speak. I was trying to post them on this post, but It was to confusing for me. Can Someone teach me how to upload the photos? I am so behind when it comes to computers. They are in my gallery and on my blog. www.stampmine.blogspot.com.
I do not get charms wholesale. I wish I could. I don't even know where to start on that yet.

I had no idea you needed a whole tool kit to make charms. I have a pair of purple handled pliers and some scissors. I have a lot to learn.
I can't wait till Sat so I can crop and bead. I am soooooo excited.

Yes, small grasshopper you have alot to learn. LOL Just kidding Sandy. Yes, it takes alot of tools. Problem would be that if the right materials are not used they don't stay together as long as you wish them too. I have my tools with my crop bag. See you saturday. Bring your tools also.

I didn't hear too many votes for dates so what if we go with March 28th for our next swap. Let's make "spring" the theme. Anything bright and cheerful! I'm so ready for warm weather.
I'm sorry that I'll miss this weekend's swap. I'll start keeping a list for the 28th so let me know if you can make it. I'm in Glen Carbon, IL (62034).
Em
I'm going to try and make it on the 28th. I'm on vacation March 22-27, so hopefully I'll be able to get my swaps made before I go and we'll get back without problem on the 27th.
For the June crop does anyone object to doing it the 6th? I was talking to some ladies at the Collinsville crop. They said there is a big big thing at the convention center on the 13th. I am open for either just let me know thanks.
sandy
Sorry I could not make the Feb. date.....I am sure everyone had a great time. Count me in for the 28th please. I will need directions...I will be happy to drive if anyone wants to carpool.

June 6th works for me also because I am going to the Collinsville stamping convention on the 13th.
Do we have to register for this? Do they offer classes? It sounds fun :-D
Here' the website http://www.rubberstampevents.com/
When it gets closer to the date they will update this with info on where to buy tickets. Last year the cost was $5 for both days. They had make n takes last year and some vendors giving demonstrations. Plus, they have stamps and all kinds of other things to buy. It was my first time going last year so I will be going again this year because it was fun.

Will anyone be going to the Gateway Center for the April CK show? Last year I was able to see pictures of projects they would have for classes. Does anyone know where I can see those this year? I missed the deadline to sign up online ): Last year I went the day before and signed up for all the classes I wanted to take with no problem. Let me know if anyone is taking a good class!

Emily,
Hi! My name is Joyce and Tracy contacted me about this Saturday's stamping group. I would love to come - don't live far - but have some questions as I have not attended before.
I understand you each make enough "kits" already prepared so that everyone can make your card design. Does each person bring their work kit with adhesive, etc? Do you actually stamp your design prior to the get together or do you bring the stamp with you? If you are coloring the image beforehand, is it mostly about inspiration - the different color choices and patterned papers and layers or is it about "useable cards" that you end up with? I know this seems nitpicky but I just want to be sure I understand what I am to do.
After I hear back from you, I'll know if I have enough time to put together the necessary stuff - would you say 10 should cover it?
Thanks, hope to meet you Saturday. I'll need directions coming off Hwy 255 by the Collinsville Convention Center. Again, thanks.
Is the time to arrive the same as last month? Is this being held from 1:00 to 4:00 pm on Saturday?
When someone has the chance, please send directions!

Everyone brings the supplies for their card--cut cardstock, etc. along with the stamps, ink and embellishments. We rotate spots around the room and make the card at each station. We typically do all stamping at the swap unless you have a very intricate design. Each person brings their own adhesive and scissors.
We each walk away with a set of completed cards. Does this help?
Yes, please do send me the driving directions. And put me on your list to come this Saturday. I'm starting to put together my card set right now.... looking forward to meeting you all. Thanks.
