I can't wait to get together again ladies. Yesterday was so much fun meeting all of you! For February's meeting I will host at the church I work in. It is off of Manchester Pike. I will post directions and information when it's closer to the date.
The date is March 7th from 10am to whenever. We will have the whole day!!
**Address: Advent Lutheran Church, 1700 Irby Lane M'boro 37127. It use to be 2505 Manchester Pike. They are both the same, we just moved the mailbox off the busy highway.**
Since we have a month to prepare, let's do door prizes. We each bring something handmade or bought (in the $10 range). During the day we will draw names and that person can pick out whichever prize they would like.
Also, since the time is right through lunch, we can do lunch at the church if everyone wants to. We can each bring a few dollars to chip in for pizza, or find somewhere to get box lunches with sandwiches, whatever we decide as a group I'm good with. (I've already told my hubby is the designated lunch getter and he said yes ma'am... LOL) Or we could just all bring snacks and sandwiches with drinks and munch as we go along.
I am totally open to anything you ladies want to do... just mention it. I am so excited and I am already thinking of ways to make a cool name tag like Kristi and her mother had ;)
Ok, it looks like we will all have to have a cool name tag like Kristy's...lol...after next month we might know everyones name. I think the door prize idea is great. Are we still doing a shoe box swap? Let me know so I can have all the supplies this time.
:-) I'm subscribed...I think Mom and I should be able to be there..I'll have to double check with her...and I'm trying to teach her how to subscribe and become involved with the threads - that way if i forget to tell her something - it's not too awful bad...looking forward to seeing yall again!!
I'm subscribing to this one also. Thanks for all the great cards. Kristy I just have to get Baroque Motifs after having that one in my hands yesterday. I loved the black also Mrs. Teresa. It was beautiful, too. Thanks for all the stress relief girls! Can't wait to do it again!
I am in as well... As far as I know I can make it on that date. I had so much fun Saturday and you gals were great to meet in person :-D I am going to have to try to make me a cool name tag as well.
OK ladies.. the date changed to March 7th. The 28th date is a game night at the church and they had to set up games before hand so that just wasn't going to be a good fit. So, the Pastor has ok'd the 7th! That gives us another week to prepare our stuff!
Since we can stay as long as we want/need to on that day we can also crop if you want! We can make the cards first and then the ladies who would like to stay afterwards and crop, feel free to!
I loved those pens too...but will be back in the boro on Tuesday of next week...for the dreaded doc appt....but to make up for it - Mom and I are going shopping afterwards (if I'm a good girl ;-). )...So I'll have to snag some of those pens as well...I loved the effect on the flowers!
As far as I know - Mom and I should be able to make it on the 7th...do we have a theme or are we gonna wing it again??
Great, I'm glad you guys can make it. I just adored your mother Kristy. She was so sweet and her card was great!
If you girls want a theme let me know. We could do Spring, Easter, or start on Christmas cards early (lol)
Awww. thanks...I kinda like her too :-) - she is a keeper!!
As for a theme - Mom and I already have Christmas cards under way - we have a BYOP (bring your own project) club at the Cottage once a month - so we use that as our CHristmas card night!! We also have a SU club at the cottage once a month...so we go there TWICE every month!!!! YAY us!!!
I'm ok with a theme...or a challenge...like we all have to use ____________ on our cards...hey you know what...Kelly...it's your month..you do whatever you want and we'll all be thrilled to follow suit..just to have a wonderful stampin' day with wonderful ladies is what I'm looking forward to!
I will be there on the 7th, I might be a little late since I have to take my Layout of the Month over to Sassy before I come, it's due that day. I will also have to leave by 4 p.m. but other than that I will be there, don't start any fun stuff till I get there ... should be there at 10:30 a.m. Just need directions.
whoo hooo looks like a majority of us will be able to come....wish that everyone was able to make it. Maybe we will be able to get some new ladies to join too.
I would love to invite you to a Open House/Swap/New Club Meeting in Woodbury. It is from 4-9pm on Fri., Feb. 6th. Please feel free to pm me for more info. I'd love to see you all again.
I can't today. But let me see what I can get done today to see if I can on Friday. With me missing yesterday I have a long day ahead of bulletins, announcements, the newsletters, and W2's. It would be so cool if we could get several together for lunch.
I'm gonna see if Kelsey - from Clarksville can come too...she came to the one we did in Clarksville last year...and she's quite a celebrity ;-) she assisted in the creation/design of one of papertrey ink's sets from last year, called, Everday Blessings! I'll PM her and link her to this thread!
I remember some of you from the Nashville get together. I'm going to subscribe to this thread. I'd love to come, just have to check and see if I have anything going on.
Thanks for the sweet compliment, Kristi!

YAY Kelsey!! I'm glad you posted!! I'm hoping you can come! These are some super GREAT ladies...and very talented too! How's your baby nephew? Are you enjoying staying home or are you searching for a J-O-B??
Hey Kelsey! When this group met last week I was talking about the Nashville meet. I wondered where all the ladies were! Is Keva/Brownee still around?
I haven't seen/heard her on here in a long time. I guess since a few months after our Nashville meet. I wonder where she is.
