All cards are to be full cards. Please bring enough supplies for everyone to make your card including all cardstock, stamps, inks, embellishments, tools, etc., along with your own adhesive and scissors to use on all the projects we make. Please make sure all of your supplies are labeled with either your name or initials, so we all go home with the stuff we brought. We'd like each person to have a sample and typed instructions in their box telling how to make your card, and also have their swaps in baggies or envelopes containing everything each person needs to do your card. This really helps make the swap go more smoothly.
Being the newbie that I am, do we pre-stamp / pre-punch / pre-cut everything so that all anyone has to do it put it together? Or do we leave it unstamped and bring the ink pad, etc.?
yeap. stamping isn't necessary nor is coloring. but everything does need to be cut to size and if using an embossing folder that should be done too to avoid having to drag the machine and then have to fight over it. everything but the adhesive should be included in the kits.. stamps, ink pads, coloring medium, embellies, any other things like a paper piercer, sponges if possibel have a few extra pieces of CS especially the CS that will be used to stamp the images on... mistakes do happen and you can't alwasy flip it over eheheheh.
remember that there will be 24 other cards to make so try not to make it too fancy or intricate. Take pity on me!
YOUR personal accessories should include plenty of your favorite adhesive, your paper snips or scissors, and if you are of a mind, a cutter and workspace.. like a lot of people use their Scor Pal with the insert to cushion the table. I am cheap and only have a mousepad.
Angie, DM pretty much summed it up. It's much easier to punch everything out for your kits ahead of time, so your box isn't weighted down by lots of punches. If you have wording or something that needs to be stamped and then punched, bring along that punch for us to use. Usually we (the other swappers) stamp everything when we make each card. You just need to have all of your cardstock cut, the stamps, inks, embellishments, etc that we'll need, and directions to make your card all in your box.
Ladies, just a reminder that I need your payments to hold your spots for the swap. Also don't forget to sign up for something to bring for lunch. We still need a few crockpot main dishes.
you know what I hate..being short ONE section of ribbon( or in this case, twill tape) to complete all 24 kits. last bit is 4 inches long and I need 5.5. oh well somebody gets somethin different then huh....

What type, color is it? I may have a few hundred yards.

I hope your plan works out - if not, I will be running with you, Kathi!! I can't even start working on mine until Tuesday. And, now, have to come up with another plan, as the gal at the LSS yesterday forgot to ring up my glossy white paper (I forgot she took it out my hands, while I was going through the rest of the store). I don't feel like making the trek back just for that....
OK Cindy. My plans have changed for Saturday so I can attend if a space opens up. So please put me on the wait list. Just don't tell Jane (just kiddin' you Jane-Luv ya).
