Cindy, thanks as always for all your hard work in organizing the swap and for all the wonderful goodies. I like the way you changed things up with calling the numbers of our boxes. It kept me on my toes. We were all concentrating so hard on our stuff it was pretty quiet in-between.
I'm so sorry I missed today's swap--I always enjoy spending the day stamping and chatting with everyone at Cindy's swaps! I had a pretty good reason for missing today's event. If you want, you can find the reason here.

Lori, she is adorable! Congratulations on your new baby! I am so sorry to hear about Cosmo, I did not know that you had lost your sweet boy in December. I've always enjoyed chatting with you about him and my crazy dog Rusty who I also lost back in October to cancer. I know Chloe can never replace Cosmo but she will bring lots of smiles and happiness to you!
Cindy, thank you again for another fabulous swap! I liked how you mixed it up this time with calling the numbers, that was a lot of fun! It was a wonderful day with beautiful cards, yummy food and great conversation! Thanks for all the hard work you put into making these so much fun!
Cindy,
This was my first time at your shoebox swap and I had a great time. I loved all the cards and the food was great. I hope you add me to your mailing list for future swaps. You are absolutely outstanding. You had everything so organized and the prizes were super.
Thanks!!!!
Thersa, your card is so pretty. You are an enabler. I was thinking about that set, talked myself out of it and now you make me want it! So wrong....but the card is beautiful. I love the colors.
Lori, so sorry about Cosmo. I have been out of touch a bit. Congratulations on your new puppy. Absolutely adorable.
Cindy, what can I say, I missed you!

Cindy, I really had fun yesterday and enjoyed meeting everyone. What a great group of creative women! I love all of the cards I made. I would love the recipe for that great pizza casserole if the maker is willing to share it!!
Thanks again,
Eileen
Beautiful cards, great food, and wonderful company- Cindy you ROCK! Really enjoyed it, can't wait till the next time. I'd love that pizza crockpot recipe too.
Thanks much,
Mary
Thanks first and foremost to Cindy for putting together another great event for us. You did a great job as always, and somehow always find ways to keep it fresh and fun for everyone.
Jane - we all missed you so much. I chose a mothers day card with a bunch of tulips from the everlasting joy set stamped on a top note. I will try to upload it.
Lori - congrats on your new baby, and so sorry about Cosmo. I know how deeply your loss hurts. Chloe will give you lots of smiles and joy!
And lastly to JoAnn, Mary, and Eileen, thanks so much for all the smiles and laughter, it was a great day of fun and stamping. Can't wait to do it again.
I too would love to have the pizza casserole and the calypso beans recipes if those ladies are willing to give up their wonderful secrets

Thanks ladies for another great swap. The laughter was wonderful to hear, the food was great as usual, and the card creations you all had rocked. Every card was wonderful!! Thanks to all of those who stayed to clean up. I really appreciate that, and so does DH.
JoAnn and Mary, how was dinner? Did you wind up going to Manhattan Grill? We actually went there today for lunch with our pastor and his wife.
For those of you who had heard about Frank's daughter, she was to be released from Shock Trauma today. The head neurologist ran lots of tests and has confirmed they are non-epileptic seizures. Her seizures are somehow brought on by stress...where some people eat a lot, some people have bathroom issues, etc., she is all of a sudden dealing with stress by having seizures after hitting her head on the garage door. Very strange way for them to start. She is still having them. They are hoping with medication and counseling that she can get thru this. Frank is able to tell about 10-15 seconds before one is happening - she either twitches her leg or arm a few times, but she doesn't know when they happen at all, and once they are over, she is back to being totally coherent and doesn't realize what has happened. She did get her voice back, so that was a blessing. So if you are a praying person, please pray for Frank's daughter and his family as they adapt to all of this.
Brienne, you left your sample card, directions, and a partial sheet of dimensionals. I can drop them in the mail if you'd like, or I can donate the card to the card ministry rack for Mother's Day. If you'd like everything back, please PM me your address.
Lori, congrats on your new puppy. Mom and I took a Copic certification class with Nikki and her mom from Clear and Simple Stamps, and we talked about you. Nikki and her mom are great. We really had a great time last Saturday learning all about the markers and such. You were truly missed yesterday, but I think a new puppy is worth missing the swap. Have fun!!
Cindy, JoAnn and I did go to Manhattan Grill and it was very good. I had the lobster crab imperial and the sweet potato fries. It was the bomb! Thanks your DH . That's the one he suggested and it was a good choice. Prayers being said for Frank's daughter.
Thank you and your mom again for being my lifesaver otherwise my day wouldn't have been so fun. Have a great week. Mary
Lynn I had a great time with you, Eileen, and JoAnn as well. My sides are still aching.
That's a great day when you can do what you love with people who make you smile. Mary
Okay Mary, quit rubbing it in.....I feel bad enough about missing the darn swap! And now you tell me about lobsta for dinna? I'm going to dinna with you next time.

Darn! Guess I can't smack DH since you enjoyed it so much. LOL I'm just glad her stamps worked out for your card. Thanks for the prayers too for Frank's daughter.
I'm writing to ask you all for your prayers for my dad. I'm flying home to Michigan Wednesday to be with him and my mom as he undergoes surgery on Thursday to remove a cancerous kidney. I don't really know what they will find when they do the surgery. Please pray that it is contained within the kidney and has not spread. He's 77 years old. Thanks everyone!
Hello everyone. First, I want to thank you all for your prayers. I'm back home in MD now and happy to report that the surgery went very well. It took only 3 hours instead of the projected 4 to 5 hours. The doctor came to the waiting room when it was over and he was beaming!! The cancer was totally within the kidney and had not spread in spite of the years it went undetected. There is no need for further treatment, just healing and recovery, praise God!
