I have updated the latest payments I received. If you have sent in your money and you don't see it marked PAID then PLEASE PM me ASAP.
Please also check the list to see if I have YARD SALE or YS next to your name which means that you have indicated to me that you are bringing Yard Sale items. If you want to bring up to 10 items and it is not marked that you are, Please let me know as soon as possable so I know how many extra tables to set up to make sure there is enough room for everyones stuff.
If you have not signed up for Food yet, please check the list and let me know what you are bringing. Looks like we could use another main dish (maybe Meatballs), dessert, side dish, breakfast or munchies.
MY card is in my head but not made yet. I guess I need to get going on it since I see several of you are already done/ready for the swap.

I got my card figured out. Yeah!! Now I can think about the next class. See you all next week. Can't wait to see the wonderful cards everyone else will have. Pam
One week count down till the swap. Do you know where your ink pads & stamps are - LOL
Please note that I had to change the ending time to 4pm instead of 5pm. The next day (Sunday) is the Fire Department Open House and there will be people in there setting up for Sunday.
If you don't think you will finish by 4PM, ask for help. There are always people who finish earlier that some and are usually willing to help you out while they wait for everyone to finish their swap. We have 5 less cards to do then before (25 vs 30 in the past) and because of this change I will open the doors at 8am if you want to come a little earlier.
When you write or type up your card directions, please include a list of items in your box. That way if you get a box and there is no punch and a punch is on the items list you know that the last person may have forgot to put the punch back into the box (look, it happens, even I have done it). Plus you can check the list to make sure you have put everything back into the box.
The trash cans in the center of each table will be numbered. So will the yard sale tables. So if you are sitting at table 5 you will place your yard sale items on Yard Sale table #5 located on the outter wall of the room (hope that makes sense). I hope to place your yard sale table close to your sitting/stamping table so that buyers don't have far to go to find the sellers.
I will post any thing else I have and directions in a few days.

While DH is down at the stadium watching the O's lose, I was productive and did my swap. Just have to bag it all up. Had lots of stuff to punch. Looking forward to a fun day of stamping and maybe even buying. Eating too!
Jane, are ya gonna stop by to shop and eat some mac & cheese? I hope so!
Too bad Hobby Lobby doesn't open this weekend. That would have been fun to shop at after the swap.

Just to let everyone know that Hobby Lobby here in Laurel is trying to be ready for a soft opening on 10/1 around noon with the grand opening on 10/4. Since I am so close I am keeping an eye on it and I'll let you all know if these dates change.
Also for anyone who has never been into a Hobby Lobby, the lady I spoke with described it as like a pier one in the middle with a craft store around it.

Hobby Lobby rocks! I've been in several and they have the best sales and great ideas. I love their home decor area especially for different holidays. And their embellishments are awesome especially when on sale at 40% off. I can't wait to have one here in MD.

YIKES! Just realized the swap is THIS SATURDAY! I haven't even started my card!!!!!
I have an idea but just need to give it a try first...wish me luck!!!

Just 4 more days till the SBS or as they say at Christmas Time (which is only 95 days away), only 4 more sleeps till the swap.
Just to mention once again that on Saturday we need to be out by 4pm which is different that the originally posted 5pm. To help those that may need extra time I will be opening the doors at 8am even though the offical start time is 9am. As you finish up on Saturday, PLEASE be mindful that others may not have finish your card. Please do not leave untill everyone has done your card.
Also a reminder about your Yard Sale Items. You are limited to 10 items each and should have told me you were bringing items already and it should be noted next to your name on the sign up as either "Yard Sale" or "YS". I limited it to 10 since this is our first go at this and I wanted to see how well it goes. I was also wondering about room. So hopefuly we will figure that all out on Saturday. PLEASE make sure that your items are clearly marked with your name (so we know who to pay) and the price (so we know what to pay). Each person will be responsable for the items they bring in. It is also up to each seller if they will take just cash or checks also. If you have any questions before Saturday, please PM me.
We will also have a FREE table for you to place items on that you no longer want that maybe someone else will want. Say you have finished with that sheet of alphabet stickers but there are over 1/2 left. Someone may need them to finish a project of theirs.
I am finishing up on a few things and I am looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday.
