Reading all of ya'lls excitement has made me more excited!!
I've got my card designed..it's very simple, but I love it!
And wait till you see my mom's card! Her's is simple too, but it's so cute! She designed it herself.
I've got to do my name tag. I'm going to MIB tomorrow, so maybe I'll find some inspiration there. What are ya'll using as the base? I've never made one, so I'm having trouble starting on it. Thanks in advance!

Hey Kelsey! Maybe I'll see you there. I have to run to MIB tomorrow to pick up the pattern paper for the rest of my card kits.
Okay...I just saw jen's name tag! She is totally going to give me a run for my money! And her card is nice too! Time to get on the ball!!! I gotta get to work on my card creation! I am such a procrastinator!
I am so blamed excited that I am done ahead of time for once...and I seriously stress "FOR ONCE"...you will soon find out how notorious I am for pushing it to the last minute (like before it's time to leave).
Almost done making my kits. Just need to cut up a few more pieces. Still gotta make my name tag. I hope it works out the way I'm picturing it.

You can do it...if it's a teensy bit hard I'm sure it will be ok. WE can't all do easy peasy ya know...it's the time that factors in and as far as I am concerned we have tons o' time! *grin*
Remember we are stampin, eatin, and chattin...and away from home for the day. So, I plan to ENJOY my day away!
If you need help with some inspiration just holler at me...I am much better helping others than I am coming up with my own. It's a curse! lol

I'm sure we can work out the table situation. I am planning to call them this week to tell them a table set up that will work best for us...so we should be able to fit them in somewhere.
It's not strep! It's viral...his temp is down and he needs to stay home tomorrow but hopefully all is well. Pray for a speedy recovery. I can't miss Saturday! That would totally stink! :(
FYI: Not that I would miss unless it was absolutely necessary! DH will play Dr. Daddy while I am gone if need be...besides as quickly as they get sick they recover so I'm sure he will be fine by then.
Oh you better find time.........I don't have my card done yet either.. I did get my name tag done...Lesia, Debbie and I will help you if you need us to. You may have to come and help me........ You can come over Friday and we can do them if you don't think that is to late.... That is when I will probably do mine...

Hey chickies! Kelsey and I have got all our plans straight and we are on the lookout for some kind of display board. Does anyone have one that we could use for the Card Contest?
If not, maybe we can use some string and clothespins...we will figure out something. I'm not an SU! Demo anymore so my display board seems to have been used in the building for some tools or something?!?!
we had few ladies drop out so I was going to suggest to bring one for your stamping station and one for the contest (the 2nd one is even optional if you want to enter the contest or not)...

You can get some of them poster boards that the kids do their science fair reports on. Do'nt wal-mart sell em or maybe an office supply store? Just food for thought!
Oh wait...I have some here I might could "borrow"...they have a foam core but they were used for a different event (Emmaus). Hmmm I will ask dh if not they sell them here in my teensy little town for cheap.

I'm anxious to meet as many SCSers as I can...the hard part will be keeping everyone straight in my head...maybe I'll take pics of everyone with their nametags in plain sight so I can remember! Holly I am sorry your sick......I will show you everything we do...I showed Debbie my name tag and she liked it. Now to do my card... and my box. I gotta get busy. Maybe school will be out tomorrow and I can work on it. Ha!

Holly- I still hate it that you can't attend...feel better soon. I have to hide out when I get migraines...take care of youself and get some rest. It sounds like you have been way too busy lately.

If you were like several of us you made extra kits for those "oops" problems anyway...I hope this doesn't present a problem for anyone. I really wanted her to attend and she already has super-cute card idea. You will totally love it!
