29 inches of snow in my front yard and I forget where I put my camera! Go figure! I love spending days inside with nothing to do but days I have no choice I get stir crazy! UGH.. Anyone get more inches than that? NY ladies? With the last batch on the front yard it is 38 inches. crazy!!
Oh and by the poll I meant the PM'd one.
Like I said in my last post I have to start planning now. I am such a procrastinator I need to plan early so the last minute is just put together and gather! lol
I have a question for you all... when you get swap cards and do these showboxes do you prefer to get/do themed cards (Birthday, Thank yous, Feel Betters) or generic cards that could be for anything. That is what I always stress over..

Hi Jan The poll was overwhelmingly in favor of adding the waitlisted people and then we lost Lynn & Sue; so we were ok on the numbers, anyway. Please make any card you like: generic, thank you, birthday, etc. I wanted a "no restrictions" type of swap. I've been to swaps and felt confined by the "theme". Plus, when there's a theme, you wind up with 20 and if you don't like the theme, you're stuck. Please feel free to give your shoebox card a "Title" so I can put it on the sheet I will make for everyone to check off to keep track.

Hi Darlene, If you find the time, join us! Although, I would have to know soon. This is the first time I've hosted a SBS. I plan to make it an annual event. Where in New England are you? Anytime you want to get together & stamp, I'm ready!

I am in a dilemma about what food to bring because I'm doing the no wheat, no oats, no corn, no dairy thing AND I'm a picky eater AND traveling several hours. Shall I bring a veggie tray (love baby carrots!) and dip to back up Nancy's green salad (that will be part of my lunch for sure)? So we can at least pretend we are eating healthfully in between desserts?? ;)
I saw bring what you like, Arlene, so YOU can eat. I'll admit though that I never eat off the veggie tray when the cookies are there. I know, I'm no good! I'm sure others will be better than me!

Have you been to Regionals before?? I'm so close to Hartford (15 mins. away). I looked on the demo website, but didn't find any info other than the dates you mentioned.

I am attending this and will bring in a variety of canned soft drinks I'll be traveling for 3 hours so I don't want to bring in food items.

I am going to need to do something fun by this point. Can you sign me up for the swap? I will bring BBQ meatballs in the crock pot. I also think I will sign up for the card front swap. It will be five days before my finals for my classes, so if I look frazzled, I am. Nothing like getting your masters done in less than a year and working too!
