Okay it's offical, I am so coming to Carolina Girls! I told Ryan, even if I have to hire a sitter, it is going to happen! So put me down for something dessert like and a door prize, of course. Plus I think I can snoop around The Pink House for door prize donations! I have a super easy, but yummie swap in store for us!! Miss you guys!
xoxo

You're right, Katie. We may have to start now so we can have a chance to finish it, that's if, we can understand how to make it.LOL Ronee, you know we love ya.
Time is drawing near! YEAH! I won't be able to make the Tuesday planning meeting. I have handbell choir on Tuesdays - and I'm the director - so it's hard to miss. We're working on our Palm Sunday and Easter pieces.
I've learned how to use Gamasol today. Maybe I'll do something with that at the shoe box. I'll have to practice, though.

LOL I never did finish the one from October! lol I think you are right! (And we do love you Ronee!!!)
come on now girls, Ronee's wasn't so hard if you looked at the sample and not the directions ;-) We managed to figure it out, didn't we Keri? :-) And I think Gail was at the table when i was doing it too! I'm looking forward to finding out what kind of challenge Miss Ronee has in store for us this year!

Yeah well, I guess I am a direction type girl! lol I am looking forward to the new challenge though. I think I have grown a lot since then so maybe I can figure it out this time!

I had no idea how to do it and needed lots of help.
You're right on that Amy. I wouldn't have made it that day without you. That was my time at a swap and didn't know what to do and my angel Amy led me around and helped me. We have been friends since then. You meet some of the nicest people at stamping events. Looking forward to meeting all these new ladies at the Columbia swap.
Just noticed your Spring Fling Date. I posted your thread for some of the ladies in NC Raleigh Area take a peek. Depending on the consensus maybe we will join you, perhaps a carpool. I know it is 2 hours from my location. So if you see any 'lurkers' it may be the 'other' Carolina girls ;)

Woo hoo! The more the merrier. We hope you will decide to come. We have a lot of fun!!!
We would love to have the ladies from the "other" Carolina join us in Columbia. I think we have met a couple of the ladies at the last Columbia gathering but they had to leave because of trouble at one of their homes? I think they were from the Charlotte area and talented. We would love it if they would try to come to this one.
I am going to keep y'll girls link posted in ours so that the ladies around the Raleigh NC area can see if it works out in their schedule. I am awaiting my ds baseball schedule to see it the games begin that same week...ugghhh I'll let you know before the due date.
Good morning, Big Lucy and everyone else! I hope you have something fun in store. I'm home with my sick son; missed my daughter's soccer game because someone needed to stay home with him. Of course, it was an 8am game and she needed to be there by 7:30am, so I'm not really too upset.
Anyone stamping this weekend? I've got some projects in mind, but I have to finish cleaning the kitchen and so some laundry before I can do that!
We're down to 2 months before our get together. I can't wait!!

I am so excited about this get-together. It's my first one! yay! I've been mia a bit because both my mother and my mother-in-law are in the hospital. But I'm trying to read all the posts and keep up with the chatter.
Please add my bff grandma joan to the list too. We'll bring something yummie - probably sweet, most likely chocolate - and each of us will bring a door prize too.
Can someone explain the swaps to me? What all do we need to prepare to bring? Thanks so much everybody!!

Happy Saturday Everyone! And HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATIE!!! Hope you have a great day! Don't work too hard--the housework can wait! :-)
LOL Thanks Erika and Big Lucy! I had a great day. I did a little housework getting ready to be the invalid after next week. It has been awful around here with Matt and Skylar having the flu so I had to decontaminate everything. lol I did finish my house for the Pink House. You can check it out at my Photo-A-Day blog. It turned out really cute. I think Ronee has almost talked me into teaching a class for it. Could be fun. Hope everyone else is having a good weekend.
Happy Birthday Katie! I went to your blog and checked out your "house"....very nice. Looks like a lot of work.
Thanks Amy. It was a lot of work. I got kind of aggravated with it after cutting out all the templates for covering it. It starts out just plain white chipboard and then you cover every surface. It was a lot of very tedious cutting. It took me a good part of a Saturday to do. After I got the base done, I let it sit a few days. When I came back to finish it up, I found I actually enjoyed all of the decorating. lol
Hi, Susan. We're looking forward to meeting you and your grandmother. One of the ladies will answer your question about what you have to bring for the swap. There are ladies that can give you a short and correct answer. I would just confuse you but I wanted to let you know that we happy about ya'll coming.

That's okay! Big Lucy isn't really a big Lucy either so I am sure she can relate! lol
