double embellishments, I thought that was a requirement? When I went to M's yesterday, I bought 2 of each...one to use and one to "have, just in case".....yes, I need help with Ho-arding....

as I was coming home from dropping off my mom and sister at their house, i got a call from my supervisor, notifying me of my friend/ coworkers death!
i'm in shock, scared, sick to my stomach. she was 28 y.o. and the last memory i have of her, was last friday- she took a half day and had this huge smiling because she was going to close on her newly purchased home! her DH is in critical condition with a head injury. I don't even know what to do or say.
as soon as i got home i just hugged my DD and DH and cried like a baby....

Oh Michele! That is just horrible! Sending you huge hugs and sending her DH huge get well wishes. You really never know...so sorry to hear about all this, let me know if yoiu need to talk or anything, please.

Just returning home from a long weeked ski trip! I can't believe that I have to get this laundry done, straighten the house, plan meals (they even expect me to cook tonight!)--and then get to leave again on Thursday! I can't wait for this trip
Michele--so sorry about your friend. How difficult school will be. You, your entire school, and her family will certainly be in my prayers.

I colored many images while I sat at the ski lodge, and Jim and Liz skiied. I hope to be able to get lots of cards put together this evening. I know I also have lots of Bugaboo work to do. I was not able to view any of the blog hop. I got on the computer twice, but both only for short periods of time. The "free" internet connection was terrible!!!!!

i am appreciative of my DH today, came back from my moms, my tire is going flat, he took it to town to get it fixed while I sit on my arse and do nothing...and he has to go to work tonight. I am a lucky wife- take note that I wrote that....it seldom happens, lol!
i am going to a friend's house tonight to watch the Bachelor. I don't know why I"m drawn to reality tv, probably b/c I love the drama, I'm not directly involved, and I don't have to FIX IT. lol
i'm off to get my clothes picked out for this week, will have to pack Wednesday morning, can't pack too soon or Polo will pout until I'm gone. have a good evening girls!
Home from work! Dad took me to and from to work today, bus schedule just stinks today (because of the MLK Holiday).
Joy - I understand about Polo pouting, Dolly would do the same thing when I lived at my aunts. She would actually jump into the packed suitcase and just stare at me while I was finishing up. I ended up putting a sheet over the packed stuff so that she would not shed all over it!
You are so funny--i'm dying laughing--i'm gonna be sittin' at work, think of this tomorrow and start laughing for no apparent reason--good think i work at mental health!!!
Lisa--yes--excellent idea. I've been trying to get him to eat eggs to no avail. don't have any hamburger--aha but I do have ground venison!!!
