Anybody going to the Convention in Hamburg at the end of the month? There are less than 20 tickets left for the friday night dessert and (I think 8 projects) make-it and take it Friday night.

Thanks Diane -- This scope is his second since being cleared of cancer (knock on wood) for over a year now. Mom just can't get out of work to bring him and I'm the closest and happily willing child living near them to do it -- so, I'm it! I got invited Saturday to a surprise party that I can't say no to because it's one of my daughter's 11-year-old friends trying to throw a surprise birthday party for her mother and she's asked me to do quite a bit to help. How can I resist? Anyhoo -- will let you guys know and thanks again.

OMG Kelly, that's great helping with the party! And that's some 11 yr trying to pull it off.

I went to the doctor today about the pain in my knee (as Gayla would say "who knew") I don't talk about it much, but it scared me a couple of weeks ago, right after Dad's party (probably did too much) when I didn't think I could get thru the weekend at work. It has actually started feeling a little better, but will never be good. My kneecap is riding right on the bone no cushion left. I used to be able to walk 2-3 miles and now walking a few blocks bothers. My options are Celebrex, Cortisone shots or surgery! OH I can keep going with Motrin until I have to have something stronger. I'm gonna stay with the motrin for now. I have lost 6 pounds since I first made the appt, and that will help, if I keep going.

My FIL had injections and he walks much better, even when we still lived in the hosue and he had to go up stairs. Hope whatever option you choose gives fast and lasting improvement.
