conductorchik 07-05-2009 07:38 PM

I have not yet ordered from the new catty, but I plan on perusing some more and making my NEED (aka WANT) list on the way home tomorrow. I've been in Potsdam/Norwood for the past 3 or 4 days. Feels like forever though... BLECH!!!!

sorry to hear about your mower, tod

what an odd thing to take but since you said it was in the front yard, might they have thought the were doing you a favor -- picking it up from the curb as it were?

now, now - maybe it's a good samaritan who wanted to help the poor people with the 10 year old lawn mower and he's gonna fix it up and surprise Diane!

tillyhead 07-06-2009 10:26 AM

no, I've just heard it all ;)

njbaker 07-06-2009 02:49 PM

I think it's an inside job... your husband PAID someone to steal it so he doesn't have to mow the lawn!!! Check the bank account for a large withdrawal.....

I saw this on TV!!

now that you mention it.........he really doesn't like mowing!

Linda, I think right next to the front porch (20+ feet from the road) is not close enough to the road-we have no curb on this street

Hey ladies, I'm taking flyers to Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Garage Sale this Saturday for the August gathering in Hamburg Convention ( [email protected]) I'm holding the gathering to get more people to go to the convention on Sunday. Years ago they pulled out because we didn't get enough partipitation during the weekend and it is very sparse on people Sunday. They say it is not worth there time because of the lack of people. I think they are also still looking for a Stampin' Up demonstrator for the weekend. If your going to the convention already on Saturday, the gathering is free and you get in before the show. If your coming for just Sunday the tickets from me are $4.00. Even if you are not coming to the gathering PLEASE send someone on Sunday to help the head count.

Kewl Kat 07-08-2009 04:51 PM

About the Garage Sale... does anyone need anything or looking for something specific. If I see it I could give you a call. There will be 30 people selling items and I hope the day is beautiful because it lines the sidewalks up and down.8)

Everything is in place, we are just waiting for Jason's Certificate of Eligibility from the VA office (for his service in the AR), and the appraisal. Everything else is set to go. Now if I only had a magic wand to help me pack.

conductorchik 07-08-2009 05:41 PM

Question:
I took part in the 3D swap and got a different kind of name frame.....it was acrylic and stood up on its own. Can whoever made that tell me where you got the frame?

njbaker 07-08-2009 05:48 PM

Kris..... if it's the one I'm thinking of it's from the Dollar Tree??? Is it the one with your name in the Varsity Alphabet set? If so, I think Wendy did them???

Kewl Kat 07-08-2009 05:55 PM

Can't imagine packing up a house, good luck Kris. Don't know how military people do it every time they get relocated.

Kewl Kat 07-08-2009 05:55 PM

House does look great.

njbaker 07-08-2009 06:09 PM

I'm with you Becky...... I've been in the same house for 25 years..... and, really, I'm not that old!!

Kewl Kat 07-08-2009 06:14 PM

we redid the kitchen and dining room 3 years ago and I gave away 9 boxes of stuff at work. They looked for me coming everyday just to see what I had.

njbaker 07-08-2009 06:25 PM

I should do that........ I have so much "good" stuff that I want to be rid of. I don't have the energy to do a yard sale..... although I could use the $$$$. Anyone want to volunteer to help??? You can get first dibs on the good stuff!! LOL

Kewl Kat 07-08-2009 06:34 PM

Ok, where do you live... far ??? I co-do a town/village garage sale ever other year where I live in Oakfield. Last year it was beautiful out and there were 85 or so sales listed on the map but there were over 100 in the area because it was so nice. are we talking stuff or stamp stuff?

Kewl Kat 07-08-2009 06:39 PM

Had alot of calls this year, but it is the off year. The village charges to have a sale but I go to the village and have it wavied for the day. Pretty bad when the local government gets a cut from the stuff we sell.

I have lots of stuff in my attic for a yard sale, too....hate to donate all of it. I'm willing to help sort, price, and set up...I just don't want to be there the day of the sale to sell! Is that of any help to you??

Kewl Kat 07-08-2009 06:55 PM

problem is , I'm having surgery on the 20th of this month. want to do it next month??? August almost too late??? How far do you live?

Kewl Kat 07-08-2009 07:10 PM

Kewl Kat 07-08-2009 07:41 PM

njbaker 07-09-2009 01:39 AM
