Ladies, Melissa asked me to let you know that she will again be collecting soda can tabs and cards for the Ronald McDonald House.

I know that Arlene always collects cards for soldiers as well.

So, if you have extra cards or card fronts, I'm sure either Arlene or Melissa would be happy to have them!

Actually, I took the day off stamping and went shopping. Not for stamps, either!

Nice that you have some helpers, Diane. I spent all of yesterday stamping and just needed the break today. Not too often I say that.

I met my cousin for lunch at a mall pretty much equidistant to bith our homes. Her duaghter turned 2 on St. Patrick's Day and baby # 2 is due June 3rd (sonogram says it will be a girl ... they plan to name her Summer!) We ate at Ruby Tuesdays then shoped at JCPenney and strolled the mall until we were ready for shakes from Haagen Daaz then we left. I went to Michael's and got a few sheets of Bazzil Bling and some stuff from the $1 bins and a few rolls of ribbon. Stuff I like but can part with if needed to use for a goodie box swap I've joined that should ship soon (I'm 3rd on the list). I also have stuff in my stash but wanted things in a range of prices in case I want some more expensive goodies form the box!

I hardly slept yesterday (up around 11 am on THU until 6ish this morning when I "slept" for a little over 4 hours and rushed to get ready to leave to meet my Cousin. Got home after 5, ate dinner, cleared the table and logged on to SCS.

Eyes are already starting to close and I need to get my stuff together for my BFF's workshop in the Bronx tomorrow. (I usally stay later and we share goodies ... wonder how many times I can type the word goodie/s in this post? LOL)

I mailed my form today, Linda! It would be great if I can bring my box for any possible donations for the soilders! Sandee was sooo grateful to those who donated at the Binghamton gathering. :mrgreen:

I just got home. My sibs and I spent the day making 80 invites for my Dad's 80th BD. I designed and cut, Denise helped me color, 2 other sisters worked on computer insert and addressed envelopes. My only brother (the baby) supervised, scored, did corner punch, and his wife used my ATG to put the pieces together.
