It seems X-rated to me  ... seriously it sounds fine and it covers the who, what, when, where and why. If I changed anything at all it would be "RSVP by February 28th" to "Reply before February 28th" for simplified clarity (we all know RSVPing is a lost custom).
So ... who's hosting the cocktail party for when Tony and I celebrate 25 years in August? (JK ... we have no idea what - if anything :( - we will end up doing to celebrate).
the 1st thing i thought of w/ tina's comment-is of course it is X rated
it"s full of X's ! too funny
sounds the same though - especially since I wasn't deserting (as in hot, dry, sandy placing) them - I was de-sert-ing them - now I'm confused!
Anyway - I stopped to see you today and almost parked in R. Kraft's parking space as there were no others. When I came out he was just pulling in. I know him so he laughed when I told him I almost parked there, but then got a bad look on his face when I told him I was at Brodock and parked in the meridian spot. You were in a staff meeting:(

The rule is... if it's not something sweet ... it's only ONE S. All other uses are desert or deserted....
Sorry....... we have a meeting everyday at 11am. I just assumed it was Arlene that stopped....... sorry.
Parking in the wrong spot in our parking lot will get you in BIG trouble. We sometimes put a lock boot on your tire!! We are all spoiled here in little ol' Utica to think that there is always a convenient parking space. We have so many people working in the building that the parking lot across the street is sometimes full as well.

Good morning ... and good night - I'm going to try to get some sleep. Actually, more sleeo since I dozed off for a few hours sometime between 9 and 10 pm.
I went to Michael's today (needed blades for my trimmer and had a 20% off entire reg. orice purchase). Also picked up some MS ribbon in the clearance section. Receipt printed a 40% off coupon for next week so I plan to get a refill for my Xyron or a corner-rounder ounch. The base of mine cracked and I miss rounding corners.
Plan to go to ACMoore on Saturday (only day for 50% off one reg price item so I might get the Xyron refill or punch then. I also want to get glue dots - they are buy one get one free until Saturday. I figure I'll probably use a lot prepping for the gathering so I want to take advantage.
I'm helping Chris's GF with invitations to her parents' 25th wedding anniversary. Somehow the wording strikes me as awkward so give me some suggestions!

Thanks, Arlene. We actually wound up with something close to this! (I looked around on the Internet for the experts' advice! It was very close to your expert advice.)

Glad I confirmed what you were already doing! Most people have no way of knowing what's proper but I've been writing wedding, anniversary, shower, graduation, etc. invitations for over 11 years at work...the guys always turn the invite customers over to me because they know I'll change something if they do them by themselves (LOL!). I get picky about spelling out states, addresses, time, date, etc. unless it's a very casual party. This is based on what our invitation books' samples use. It bothers me that the English language is deteriorating  so it's my one person battle every day at work for proper grammer and punctuation. Now spelling on the other hand I have a problem with...and the brain and fingers don't always coordinate when I'm typing!
