Good morning! I am off to Archiver's to meet Rae Anne(huera90) and Karen (gamblemom) for a class and then lunch! I will be back on here later this afternoon!
Nope, you can use any theme you want. Since it is in October, feel free to do fall cards, Halloween cards, or even Christmas cards. You could also do birthday, sympathy, thank you, get well, or any/all occasion cards----doesn't matter, just make it supa purty!
Fun!!!! Maybe a spooktacular Halloween theme!!!!! LOL:mrgreen:

Awwwwwww! Karen couldn't make it after all, so I was stuck with Rae Anne! J/K! We made some new friends at the class and one of them is going to get on the waiting list (Hi, Deborah!).
You'd even be more jealous if you saw the awesome cards we made! After taking this class, I was inspired to make a clear card (acetate) for the shoebox swap. The thick acetate is supa pricy, however, and I would have to pay $40 just for the card base! YIKES! I am going to try to it cheaper somewhere else. Any ideas?

Somebody online has got to have it cheaper than that. I haven't ever bought it, so I don't know what the going price is. Have you done any searches for it?

I think I have found it cheaper! They have some thick stuff at Hobby Lobby and if that doesn't pan out, Flourishes has them for $3.99. That's half the price of Archiver's and that even includes shipping! I think I like that price better! :p

And I better be nice to you because you have some serious DIRT on me! But then again, I have a good 25 years dirt on you, too! ;)
yay, you got my moola! I can't wait to do the acete cards, I would love to know where to get that stuff too. I'll have to check hobby lobby. Maybe staples?
thoughts on using a set on the dormant list...I am still WAY up in the air about what set to use, so I won't be up a creek if you'd prefer it to be in the current catty...
Would the Acetate you are talking about be the same as The clear overhead projector pages? I found a box of them at Officemax.... I dont remember how much they were but the sheets are 8.5x11.

let me know...
there are no vendor restrictions, which basically means, use any stamp set that you like, I am sure we will like it too:cool:

If this is the acetate you are talking about, I have a full box here in the office you are welcome to. It is called Transparency Film. I don't use it for anything and it was given to me by my boss to use as I pleased. If anyone wants it, PM me and I will package it up and mail it to you.

Nope, this is much thicker. I have a box of the transparency pages you are talking about (from my teaching days) and they are too thin. But thanks anyways!

Awwww, thanks, but I need something thicker. I am going to check out Hobby Lobby because then I can use a coupon! If I can't get it there, then I will buy them at Flourishes.

   I haven't even thought about this one yet.! lol
I was just playing and came up with an idea... So I figured why not go ahead and put it all together......;) Sure hope everyone likes the creation I came up with.
Sandy/Stampin Sandyh, I received your check and registration form in the mail yesterday.
Is it OK if I wait to deposit this check until after the deadline? Man, if I had even a hint of critical thinking skills, I would've asked sassybee and gamblemom to add this question to the registration form. . .
I'm so looking forward to meeting you and everyone!
