OK, how many of you are sick and tired of this heat? According to the weather, and depending on who you ask, we are only going to get up to 90 this weekend. BRRR! Get out the flannel sheets!
I'm really looking forward to fall, my favorite time of year. Since mid-July I've been getting excited about our annual family trip to Schaefer's Farm. (Thank you, Holli, for telling me about this wonderful place two years ago!) Hopefully we will be able to do the corn maze this year since we couldn't the last two years. One year is was too hot, and the next it was closed due to muddy conditions. Regardless, even if we don't make it to the maze, we still have tons of fun there, and I love the scenic area, too. I have to admit, my favorite part is riding out to the fields to pick out pumpkins. The boys really enjoy this, too. Then, later in the afternoon I'll be up to my elbows in pumpkin guts!
Thank you for the invitation! I haven't been before, but my DIL is due that weekend (first-time grandma here!), so I think I'll stay close to home! Looks like ya'll have an awesome get together-remember me next time please?

I need to get to thinking about that too! I think I'm going to be in Arkadelphia that weekend so I can just scoot on up and it take less time. This way if I have car trouble my hubby will be closer and can come get me and have someone (my in-laws) watching the kids. I soooo can't wait for some adult conversation!! Just a note of warning...if any of you get any bright ideas and start talking baby talk, I'm going to punch you!! Just kidding!
OK Ladies ~ I will start a list in the original post of who all is coming either tomorrow or Saturday.
Make sure your name is listed in the post and if you are bringing a friend please list their name and SCS name as well.
The 8th is the cut off for the list of who is coming and I will post a final count needed for the ATC's on the 9th.
Life is very hectic for me right now so if these are not done right away please have patience with me I will get to it! THANKS!! I am excited to see you all!

The good news for this long weekend is that I get to have some stamping time! I have NO idea what to do for my ATCs though. I may be browsing to get those creative juices flowing. Happy Labor Day, ladies! I can't wait to meet you all!

I'm still hoping to attend. I reminded Dh about getting the day off from his second job, but not sure if he did anything about it yet. If he has to work, we have a friend who has 7-year-old twin boys who can hopefully watch my twins.
I'm not going to be able to attend. We're still in MO and my husbands family is coming into town on the 22nd. It's been 3 years since we've seen them so it's pretty exciting.
OK Ladies! I have updated the first post in this thread as to how many and who we are expecting.....Please post and let me know your intentions so we have an accurate number!
I am looking forward to seeing those whom I already know and meeting the rest of you!!!

Oh, no! I hate to be yet another one that needs to back out, but I do. We signed up the boys for Cub Scouts and they have an outing that morning (going on a trolley ride in LR!). I learned of the outing last Thursday night but didn't know of the time until this morning. We have to leave base around 9:45. I am SO sorry! Believe me, I was really looking forward to this get-together, a day without the boys, which I need! Looks like my Saturday mornings will be pretty busy for awhile. I will keep an eye out for the next gathering, though, hopefully it will be an evening one.
Agian, sorry! Hope you all have fun! I want to hear all about it!
