Alright Ladies,
I am moving on base!! YAY for me, for those of you who don't know, we've been getting the run around from housing, but finally got offered a place! And we move in next week!!!
And what better way to "christen" my home but with a stamping get together!!! (plus it gives me a goal to finish my unpacking! LOL)
SO! How does March 2nd look for everyone? It's a Friday night.

I'd love to make it but my husband leaves that next day:( and you know how that goes. However, I signed up to be a demonstrator and have not received my things yet but when I do I will be having a 30% of workshop and thought you and some of the other Okinawa girls may want to take advantage. I'm hoping to have it on Mon. Presidents day, open house style from 12-4.

So, it will be a tight fit, but fun, nonetheless.
So I was thinking, and as much as I'm up for a challenge at other times, I think I am going to make this just a simple "theme" party.
So, Wedding, Baby, Easter. That shouldn't be too hard. Actually, that's quite easy. I know I already have the perfect stamp set! (that's what's handy about being the host, you get to pick what's convenient! LOL)
So, how about: 6136B Camp Lester Housing
(take a right when you get into the gate, then the immediate right into Lester Housing, and we are the 3rd culdesac on the right) Right?
5:30pm--Stamping will begin promptly at 6!
Bring an appetizer or dessert...nothing too big...and I will provide a main course (don't know what yet, but I will think of something)

It's official -there is another Demo among you and that means big savings for all!!!
What: Presidents Day Stampin' Up Open house
When: February 19, 2007 from 12 - 4 pm
Where: 5514 C Waimea (2nd left after the USO from Kuter on Kadena)
Why: Because everything in all catalogs is 30% off aaaand it's Sell-a-bration time; if you spend $50 you can choose a free stamp set.
Who: Edie Jones
We'll make three of several projects to choose from. There will be classes for beginners-tips for the lovers and a good clean fun for the pros.
There will be light snacks and door prizes through-out; a beginner stamp class at 12:30, a card class at 1:30 and scrapbook page class at 2:30.
If you don't want to be slowed down at all -bring your tape glue and holster.
Of course bringing friends and RSVPing is always encouraged. My home phone is 633-1297.
Ok I will be there for sure and I will bring a friend who is not yet SCS registered but willbe shortly. Her name is Michelle. We will carpool together.

OK - got the kid issue worked out with DH, so I am definitely there! Can't wait! I think I'm doing a baby card - can we use TAC stamps or does it have to be stampin up? (I have no SU baby, wedding or easter) :(

Lasagna sounds yummy! Think I'm going to bring a desert snack - baby elephant ears. I'm glad something other than SU is OK 'cause I already made my card and cut everything out! Edie didn't get her order put in until the end of last week, so I don't expect it will be here until next week - :( I was hoping for it too. Can't wait to see everyone tomorrow! Until then....

You are all so sweet! Thank YOU! I had so much fun having people over, I am just glad I have a house that accommodates guests now! Thank you all so much for all the sweets you left behind, too! My husband and I both admitted to eachother that we had a chocolate chip cookie for breakfast! HA! And everything else was to follow through out the day! LOL!
