Whoa Girlfriends! This is for fun. No need to demand vendor exclusion! Everyone please try to use your nice stuff and let's all see what can be created! No vendor restrictions is my vote :)

arkansasjamie 08-21-2008 06:42 PM

I am open to any and all stamps, I just started collecting Whipper Snapper, High Hopes, and Rubbernecker stamps, and love them all. I vote for any and all stamps.

If I had the ability to attach those little animated smilie's from here, I would STAMP SU right on your little forehead! LOL I love SU, but it is nice to experiment.
My DH says, What? put out 250.00 to reserve a big room when you dont even know anyone is going to come? I said, yeah, well at least if no one else comes Lynette and Sara and I will have LOTS of room to spread out and work.

Hi Ladies! I am interested in coming to Pigeon Forge - can you add my name to the list? I would probably need a room to myself - I will ask a friend of mine if she would be interested in coming with me! Should I reserve a room now? Sounds like a lot of fun!!!

Welcome aboard! Yes, registration is open at the hotel now. You can reserve anytime you wish. I will add you to the overnight, let me know who your friend is and I will add her as well. If you wish to participate and in any of the swaps, let me know which ones you want to be signed up for. JSYK you do not HAVE to sign up for any organized activies. YOu are welcome to work on your independent projects. Please follow the instructions on Post #1 attachment to get our special group rate and be sure we get credit for the room.

nikki1578 08-24-2008 12:26 PM

stampinbuddy2002 08-24-2008 01:24 PM

Ladies,

Jamie sent me the cutest snowmen for my swap. Oh my she said she will be bringing her collection to our weekend. We are going to be truly blessed to be able to play with these. I have been in a closest to the stamping world for 5 years and I have just realized that there is more than just 1 company. WOW!!!!
Thanks Jamie for sharing. I will bring my few that I am collecting. One of my favorites is Impression Obsession's Rest Relax and Enjoy. It has a reading chair, bathrobe, slippers, and a bathtub.

I will be bringing some tools to share too. Just make sure your name is on everything so we dont get stuff mixed up and someone come up missing items.

LynetteA 08-25-2008 04:05 AM

I have no clue as to what to bring.....paper, scissors, rock anyone?? LOL

I think my shoebox will include a grommet or something so will bring Crop II and probably bring cuttlebug too. That may give some newbies a chance to try something they have heard about and not seen. Not sure. Those are my only tools!

samswindle 08-25-2008 05:57 AM

This sounds wonderful! My only problem is my anniversary is March 9th--25 years!!!! So, I expect that my hubby and I will be busy that weekend! LOL!!
Thanks to Nikki1578 for the invitation. I'll subscribe to the thread just in case we decide to do something before or after that weekend.
Sam

What about paper cutter, scissors, glue, tape......etc....

ladybugmomma 08-25-2008 06:56 AM

I am doing this from memory, so l might forget something.

In my travel bag I have:

scissors
bone folder
glue
tape runner
pop dots
glue dots
paper cutter
hole punch
black journal pen

Then the night before I pack several punches that are small.

arkansasjamie 08-25-2008 07:05 AM

If I know me, and I do, I will have my minivan packed with everything I own. We have a monthly scrap at our library one a month, and I always take too much stuff, they all laugh at me. I am hoping to get more Whipper Snapper stamps before March, right now, my hubby has cut my spending off because of my surgery on the 3rd, but as soon as I heal up, boy he better watch out, lol!!!!

Lynette won't let me have a bone folder, she said I should just keep using my popsicle stick! Whine whine

arkansasjamie 08-25-2008 10:20 AM

Well I use all kinds of things since my bone folder often sprouts legs and walks off, lol.

Jamie

jknorp 08-25-2008 12:11 PM

A credit Card works great too. Why spend $6.00 on something that you can spend $3.00 for a whole box of and eat on a hot summer evening. Then you have 12.
Janet

arkansasjamie 08-25-2008 01:18 PM

That's one way to look at it, lol.

Glad to see the new avatar Janet, I like to put a face to who I am talking to, I need to update mine, but right now my hair is soooo insane!!!! It came back in kinda curly, but very unruly, so as soon as I get a good one, will change it.

Jamie
