 Could someone please explain why photos I have uploaded to my gallery will be there for quite sometime and then all of a sudden the photos no longer will be visible? Everything else is there but not the photos. I just uploaded the same card again. I have not yet deleted the one that does not show the picture of the card. This is not the first time this has happened. Thanks so much, Laurie

Valerie,
I have followed ALL 6 of the suggestions in the thread. The photo I am referring to was originally uploaed w-a-y back in May of 2008 as were some of the other photos. Recently I have had two of my photos not appear. Why now???? Why 2 years???? I just keep reloading them but it is becoming very frustrating. Thanks, for your help. Laurie

Most likely the new card you are uploading has the same file name on your computer as a previous one and will kick them both out as duplicates.
Be sure your current card has a unique file name before uploading.
And if you aren't a fan club member be sure to give up time to get through the listing and approve all the uploads too.

The cards I have reloaded with no change to anything at all seem to have been fine now.
What do you mean??????
And if you aren't a fan club member be sure to give up time to get through the listing and approve all the uploads too.
Fan club members get immediate upload benefits. All other cards have to go through the approval queue.
And now that I've been back here I recognize your username from some uploads that were behaving oddly the other day. I'll mention to Lydia again so she can look further into this.

Some of the "new" uploads I did yesterday did not go thru at first because they were too large so I fixed that and had no problems. I have had a couple disappear and then come back later on. Go figure. I have had only two cards Butterfly Kisses and Blessed that have disappeared on me. The two mentioned above were originally uploaded in May of 2008. I have Butterfly Kisses disappear a month or two ago and Blessed disappeared today. All I did yesterday was add "Stampsmith" to the keyword so they would also show up in my friend Estelles gallery The Stampsmith. After I changed all the existing cards to add the keyword that is when i started the new uploads.

The blessed image name is just "blessed.jpg". That is a very common word and so not very unique. I always add my initials to all my image filenames (i.e., kth_blessed.jpg). In this way I've got more of chance of only having duplicates of my own files and I usually check that if I use a one word filename.
