yeah, I've recently gotten 'hooked' on stickles...my opinion, they're MUCH easier to use than glue and glitter (a LOT less messy too!) I only have a few colors, but I have a few more on the way, I'm sure that once you use them, you'll be just as pleased!!

Less messy, I agree!
BUT, there are some *uber* cool techniques that you can only do with loose glitter . . . So . . . I keep lots of BOTH in my stash!

Stickles are the best thing ever!! They can turn a card that just needs a little something extra into a glitter fabulous card!! I LOVE STICKLES!! I have eight different colors right now. LOVE THEM!!

STICKLES!!!! LOVE 'EM! I have ten colors, five more on the way! They are much easier to use than loose glitter. However, I agree entirely with JulieHRR, you must have loose glitter as well. Art Institue glitter is my personal favorite, and while I LOVE Stickles, if I had to choose between it and AI glitter, AI would win hands down for versatility and beauty.
Thanks for asking this question. I have wondered also. I like the less mess part. I always end up with glitter on my hands which somehow always makes its way to my contact lenses especially when DD helps out.
Do you have to order them or can you find them in AC Moore or Michaels?
I've looked for them in Michaels, but they didn't have them. Joann carries them in a 3-pack, but I've only seen one set of colors. I've gotten the four that I have at a LSS. I'm going to try joann.com to see if they carry it on-line in more colors. I've not looked in AC Moore yet.
I pick them up at my LSS. AC Moore used to have them, but I think they stopped carrying them. Just be careful and get the real Stickles, b/c I got an imitation that didn't come close. It gooped and Stickles flows easily. diane
Is TAC the best priced place to buy these? I am getting ready to place an order with TAC and I think I might add these if this is the best place to get them.
Nothing against TAC, but $2.25 is high. I've bought them at e.b.b. creations, Scrapping Corner, (both online stores) and a scrapbook store in Arkansas all for $1.99. Hobby Lobby carries it in bubble packs, three Stickles for $3.99. That's a great deal, but the bottles aren't labeled, if you want to know what colors they are, you won't like it! It doesn't list the colors on the package, either, but it does say Stickles. I buy them anyway, when I'm in there.

I've seen them for more and I've seen them for less. The lowest was $1.99. But if you are already placing an order with TAC, it makes sense to go ahead and get them. Many places have a min. order and/or shipping amount, so you'd end up spending more anyways. IMO 26 cents is worth my time of not having to search for a better deal.
Oh, and get the black stickles. It is one of my favs - looks great as the center of flowers and such.

how funny, I just looked in my stamping drawer and saw that I have 4 of these. I purchased them quite some time ago and didn't even know what they were or how to use them but figured if they were in the scrapin and stampin isle, I knew I outta have em.. Thanks to this website, I now know how to use them.. yeah for me!!!
LSS = local scrap/stamp store
TAC = the angel company... a wonderful unmounted rubber stamp/ supply/ paper company. It's a direct sales company, home parties and such. I'm a new angel...(TAC Demo) so I am a bit biased...I love TAC! and I love stickles!
Blessings, Sherri
Once you start using them you'll be addicted! Try the Crystal or Icicle colors....they go with everything. It's a great way to add a little (or a lot) of sparkle to anything!

I have both those colors, plus Stardust which has a blue glint to the glitter vs yellow/green.
One thing I've noticed - and I believe it is with the Icicle color, the glitter is larger so the little nozzle is larger. I prefer the smaller glitter size and nozzle. I get a finer line and better control.
I have a card that I just hated, so "blah". Grabbed my stickles, dabbed it all over the background in little dots and totally fell in love with the card. Its amazing what a little stickle can do!
