Default Stamping on Tiles

I've stamped on ceramic tiles with stazon, and then used stampin up markers to color in the flowers. How can I seal the tiles so the color doesn't smudge?

I had heard to use sharpie markers on these so that there wasn't any smearing, did I hear wrong?

No you heard right Sharpies will not smear, i've uesed them before on tile, just let them dry. I still seal the tiles though, I use a spray acrylic with a med gloss. I do about 3 coats drying between each. This way you can put glasses on them and not worry about the melting ice
