I'm coaching my DD's Pop Warner cheerleading squad in the Fall. I want to make the super cute purses that I seen in the gallery. I need ideas for some inexpensive little favors to put in them. I would like for it to be something I can stamp or decorate in a fun way to match. Or if anybody has done something where you give them an item and then attach a saying to it like "a star because you shine so bright" or something along that line. I want to start planning this now so it's not something I'm trying to put together at the last minute. TIA.

mini composition books, cello bags with stamped toppers (filled with candy, lip glosses, nail polish, a snack), a stamped picture frame (you can get blank ones for $3 each at Walmart), stationary sets etc.
I just made each girl on our dance team one of those 4x6 acrylic post it note holders. I used the inky antics unside down turtle with flowers/used pencils and gamasol on him. We found cute flower paper.. Also, made the matching pen. ~ 4x6 acrylic frames at WalMart or Michaels...
~Pens (RSVP) cheapest at WalMart
~Fun Paper (on sale at JoAnn's)

I mentioned an inexpensive little make up bag, with things in it they need, like bobby pins, the lip color for the squad, etc...My daughter thought that that was an ok idea, but that I should not just throw alot of junk in it! I need to consult her as to which hair bands, etc..they really use....!!
One year someone got these black tote bags for everyone. They were purchased, I think at JoAnn's. Have acrylic pocket openings on the side for photos. The girls just change the photos each year with current shots.
Someone made and laminated a luggage tag, for a trip we were taking. Said the name of the Dance Team and the girls name.
For a special gift for graduating seniors, one year, (there were only 3) we made tie blankets and had their names embroidered on them.
My sister was coaching a dance team and I put together gifts in Lay's Stax cans. The blue and yellow was perfect since it was their colors and I just made wrappers with each girl's name on it. She filled them with candy and small gifts. I also made personalized, laminated tags for their garment bags, key tags, pens, mini photo albums. They were thrilled with them. The second year we went with non-stamped items. A nylon "backpack" style bag with the team logo with a personalized hand towel and a water bottle in it.
my dd just got back from cheer camp and their coaches gave them each the first letter of their name as a big wooden letter painted and decorated in their school colors.
