Anyone else in a stamp funk???
I feel like I only make JUNK and I hate it!!
And I'm just in a FUNK. I want my catty order NOW and I can't stamp cause I don't have it!

I've seen your gallery and you DO NOT make JUNK!!
With that said, I haven't stamped since I got the new catty because I want to play with all my new stuff! Everything I already have seems so boring now!!!

It IS so hard waiting for the new stuff!! I put my order in last week and don't even have the new paper to play with yet!! Poor me!
Now I'm seeing all the new cute sets in the gallery (like Dorinda's gnomes - LOVE those gnomes!) and I don't have any of the new sets yet!
Let's have a pity party for us!

I can totally relate. It's like when you get so sick of the clothes you have in your closet and you think ~ I have nothing to wear and nothing looks good on me.
I think it is the same thing w/stamping stuff etc. I look in my stampin' closet and go ugh,  I have no stamps etc. and nothing looks good.
And I haven't even placed a new catty order yet. What am I thinking??  Being in a stampin' funk is no fun! Although I did just buy some cute stampin' accessories from Target, that helped. Shopping therapy is always a good thing.

I guess you could say I am, yet I am feeling the overwhelming "I have so many things I want to do, need to do, and ideas, I DONT KNOW WHERE TO START!!" problem-funk. lol I honestly havent had the time to just sit and play. Soon, I hope. lol

DUde, yes, clothes are the same way. NONE of my bras fit right bc of losing weight and I bought **FOUR** new styles of bras and a sports bra. Guess how many out of those **5** total bras fit correctly? NOT ONE!!! UGH!
SO that frustrated me today too! Gotta go return them (bought htem online, dumb idea)

I'm also losing weight, so I'm in between sizes and hate the way everything looks. I try to forget that and pick my most comfy clothes and wear them no matter how they look (the well worn jeans that are now too big but still like a good friends, etc.).
I haven't ordered any new stamp stuff yet, so I don't have any new toys to look forward to. I've taken an old set that I've gotten but haven't used much and try new techniques with that which I may not have tried before (or have tried with another stamp set but not the one I'm trying to use). I play around with that and see if I can come up with some cards that look unique. Been doing it, and it's getting me out of my funk - just haven't uploaded anything yet (haven't ever uploaded anything, so maybe that's another funk I need to work on!)

You're one of the best stampers on this site -- silly girl! You're awesome! You know what's wrong? You're tired of using old stuff because you're waiting for TOMORROW when your order comes in! Me too! I'm waiting for my demo kit and can barely look at my "once-loved" sets! The funk will be gone by Tuesday, wait and see! I guess I can join the funk club too! My stamp room is a mess right now and I feel too lazy to clean it and a relative just said: "The cards Jenny (my 8 yr old dd) makes are just beautiful!" Jenny doesnt make the cards...I DO!!!! So do I feel insulted that she thinks my dd makes the cards or complimented that she thinks they are beautiful...not much of a compliment though if she thinks whats beautiful is made by a kid! Although, I dont think this person has a crafty bone in her body, so how would she know!!  Whew, glad I got that off my chest!!
I too still have to place my new catty order...I know it will be a big one just have to find time to sit down and figure out what I definitely want!! Hopefully this funk will end soon for all of us!!! |

I was until last night when I got a sudden urge to make a bunch of cards. But I hadn't stamped for quite a while before that though. I am too busy looking through the new catty I guess. |
