Default ZBB Bamboo Handle "Problem"

I just received my Z Becky Brown purse from JoAnn's and the handle doesn't seem to fit right. Anyone else out there with one of the bamboo handles can you tell me if this seems the norm? I just wasn't sure if the bamboo doesn't bend well so it messes up the handle claps (or thingamajigs as I'd normally call them.)

I attached a photo to show what I mean. See where the bamboo attaches to the metal handle clips??? I don't think it looks right, kinda feels wrong.

If this is normal I don't want to go through the effort of sending it back only to get another with the same issue. I am APO overseas so sometimes shipping can take up to a month! And the holiday shipping season is here. I was seriously considering making this a gift for my MIL.

Please let me know if this is normal! Thanks!

It looks to me like the handles are too close together maybe. I think you got a defective one

Hi Melissa...I'm not sure looking at the photo what your question really is, but I have purchased three of the bamboo handled purses and all three look just like yours. I have been carrying one of them for about 3 weeks now, and am not having any problems...other than me getting used to a hard handle that doesn't give! LOL!

I love it and have gotten alot of questions and comments.

It looks kinda bad to me. :(

I did find a picture of a zbb with a bamboo handle in the gallery that you can compare to:

Thanks ladies! I guess I'll have to contact JoAnn's for a replacement. Compared to the one Pixie found in the gallery, my metal attachments are too close. Not by much, but I paid good money (even with the coupon) and want one that is right.

Again, thanks!
