Are you Stamping Royalty? Do you want to be?
SO i've entered Papercrafts Stamping Royalty Contest for the last 3 years. No luck so far, but here's hoping the 3rd time's the charm!
What I want to know is, have you ever been stamping royalty? Post a link to your gallery so I can see what I need to do. Did you enter this year? Post a link so I can see what my competition looks like!;) Good luck to everyone who entered this year! |

I won last year. I followed the directions of the contest and submitted at least 2 cards per category. I used the newest Stampin' Up! stuff I had, too. I won in the Heat Embossing & Tone-on-Tone category.
Just make sure you submit your best work. I have no idea what they are looking for because I have submitted to Paper Crafts since then and have about a 10% acceptance rate, LOL! Have fun! I hope you win because the prizes are really good this year!! Good Luck! |

I think the *key* to this and lots of pub acceptance work---(contest or paid work) is to absolutely submit your BEST work but also submit something that someone who reads the magazine could reproduce.

I only submitted in two categories. I just ran out of time. I know this year's cards were better than what I sent in last year... but who knows? |

Uhg I had forgotten all about it, as was my plan. I've not heard. course I'm not really expecting to hear anything. But as no one else is talking I guess I'll not give up hope. :)

Keep on stamping! Your gallery (which is not tiny at all ;D) is great - so many pretty pretty cards to ogle.
Re: Stamping Royalty, I entered this year in 2 categories, but since the 4/13 notification deadline passed and i've heard nada, I'm guessing I am not a member of Stamping Royalty :(. I've tried finding results or updates on the PC site, but haven't seen anything yet. I do have some publication submissions out there, and am waiting to hear back. Although, like SR, I'm guessing they only notify you if you're selected, so am crossing fingers to hear back something. Good luck to all the ladies (and gents) with card proposals out there waiting to go home with an editor. |
When I won last year, one of the editors called me on the phone. I bet her eardrums are still ringing!!:D
