Question Winged Things or Wonderful Wings...

I know they are very different but which would you choose?

I personally have both sets. In saying that, I think it depends on if you want realistic looking butterflies I would go with the wonderful wings. The winged things set is more of a pencil sketch of butterflies, and more whimsical. I guess it just depends on what and how you are going to use the set the most. HTH

I don't like In Full Bloom at all, even after seeing all the samples here, so naturally I'm not a fan of Winged Things, either. You folks have changed my opinion of a few sets (Shapes and Shadows, Paint Prints, Stipple Celebrations), but not that one! Wonderful Wings is still on my wish list.

I definitely would pick Winged Things, but that is because my style is whimsical. Just a personal preference. I really enjoy coloring it in and adding glitter outside of the wings where the little dots are.

Wonderful Wings is definitely my favorite between the two. Seems to lend itself to more of an artsy, realistic feel.

I have wonderful wings and LOVE it. I use it on tiles a lot. I will say that winged things is cute, but I really haven't thought much about how I would use it. It really depends on your style.

I have Wonderful Wings and I LOVE it. I think it will also "age" better as the style is sooo classic and realistic, how could it go out of style?!

I love my wonderful wings! I like winged things too, but I don't have that one yet.

Wonderful wings works good for watercoloring. I you have In Full Bloom you might want to get winged things since it goes well with it.

Are you a demo? I think Wonderful Wings has been in the catalog for a while, so you might want to wait until the retired list comes out.

Winged things is in the spring mini so who knows if it will be in the catty. If you are a demo, this may matter to you as well. There is also that cute wheel to consider that goes along with the winged things.

Hey, now that I think about it, the snail isn't a "winged thing" is it? hehe

I would hurt anyone who tried to take away my wonderful wings, I use it ALL the time, as a matter of fact, on several of them the sticker has totally worn off!

I LOVED the double line art style (In Full Bloom & In A Pear Tree from the Holiday Mini Catalog) and so my vote is for Winged Things. If it is in the new catalog, I'm getting it!

Cool

I'm not a demo so I'm not really caring if things are retiring or not. I totally forgot about that cute little snail in Winged Things. I think I will put it on my list for next month and then get Wonderful Things if it is on the retiring list. If not, it will definitely remain on my wish list.

FYI, we did the faux postage technique at my last stamping club and when we were choosing our little stamps to fit with the template, I chose the snail. I thought that was so cute, Snail Mail! I ordered In Full Bloom last week and I think if I get Winged Things I will have to break down and get the wheels for both of them as well. Sigh, there is no end to this madness, is there?
