SU carries window sheets, but just yesterday I spoke to a SU demonstrator/friend and she said window sheets are the same as good quality overhead transparancies. The only problem is you have to buy a lot, so hopefully you have someone you can split a box with. Hope this helps.
Yes window sheets are in the SU catalog. I don't have it here in front of me, so I'm not sure what page it's on - but it's in the back in the accessories. Maybe look it up on the accessories index page? In stores, you'd be looking for 'acetate' or 'overhead projector transparencies'.

Yes stampin' up carries window sheets... they are on page 216 in the new catty. The first section d. you get three for 2.95. Personally, I have bought a box of transparencies from Office Depot or staples. They work just as well and are a whole lot cheaper.
Walmart also carries them in the office supply section...10 sheets for $5-$7 (can't remember the exact price)...they also have window cling sheets for around the same price!!! Bought them but haven't had a chance to try them yet...
I went to my kids school and got some scrap laminating film out of the trash!! I cut this for my faux postage template and it worked fine. Not quite as heavy as acetate..but in a pinch it works and the price is right!
When I was doing Christmas cards with the Snow Globe set (I had been introduced to SU! only three months before!), I used self-stick laminating sheets for the "glass" part of the globe and rubbed glitter all over the sticky side -- not too messy, since I only poured on a little bit and almost all of it adhered to the glue on the sheet.
(I confess, I got the idea from my demo -- she showed us that set at the workshop, and everyone ordered it!)
