I credit my friend Jan for inviting me to a Stampin' Up! party about 10 years ago. Also Kaylene, my first demo, Liz, my second demo, and Julie, my current demo. I don't come from a long line of crafty people like some of the women above, so I had to go out and find other craft friends!

I have to give this credit to my Mom! She had us girls making construction paper houses as Christmas decorations eons ago. These and the paper chains are a wonderful memory. I remember the hours Mom spent hidden away in her bedroom making the best Barbie clothes for my sisters and I. Of course all the clothes she made for us while we were in school were the best. Mom and I even had a few outfits that were alike. I sure loved these.
Now we do card making. I have followed in My Mom's footsteps in so many ways. My Mom is still an inspiration to me every day. I love this woman with all my heart!!
Oh yeah, her Mother was a wonderfully crafty lady too. I have so many beautiful pieces that she has, crocheted, embroidered, tatted and so on. Grandma came up with the best was to reuse wrapping paper and cards. When Grandma and Grandpa were alive, they made something of everything, not wasting anything. All of these handmade items are treasures to me and bring me great pleasure.
