Being freshly deemed as a Stampin' Up demo - my upline told me I still have time to register. Who is going? Is it worth it to me to actually go, seeing I just got my kit today??? Should I wait for the next convention? Any advice/thought/ideas would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks in advance ~ Pam
I'm going and a whole bunch from my upline team are going. We can hardly wait! This will be my first year and one of the reasons I became a demo was for convention!
I'd have to say that if you can swing the money, convention is one of THE most worthwhile experiences as a demo, particularly if you're just getting started. Go for it! It's wonderful!
I just got my kit yesterday! If I could afford to go I would!! I envy all of you who are going!
Have fun and please keep us less fortunate informed... please!

That's how I was my first year. I joined in April and there was just no way I could get it together to attend convention that year.
If we don't see you in Orlando, I hope to see you next year...wherever convention may be.
I am so excited to go this year. I joined June of last year and I am counting down the days until convention. I can't wait. I will be meeting my upline down there.

I'm going and cannot WAIT!! I just signed up in March and I think this will be a great way to help me kick start things once I move to the EC (from the WC) this fall... I will be losing most of my customers and will need the 'get up and go' push to get moving!! Plus... It'll just be LOADS of fun!!
I'm going! I live in Florida and it may be the last time that it's this close to me. I don't know that I could afford it otherwise! Sneakin' in a little visit with my Dad (who is returning from 5 years in Africa as a Missionary) while I'm there! Can't wait!
I went a couple months after signing up...I never dreamed of how greatit was!!! Three solid days of ooohs and aahhhs. I came home reeling with endless projects and ideas. Plus, convention goers get stamp sets and accessories (usually the ones from takes) for a significant discount!! Yay!
The best advice I can give is.....DIGITAL CAMERA! I took 500 pictures of display boards and a year later I still love to look them over. It will give you a whole years worth of inspiration. I can't wait for July!!!
Im not even a demonstrator yet and I wanna go! All the more reason for me to sign up as a demonstrator don't ya think
I would go but I am going to be leaving for Iowa visiting my in laws on the 16-24 and I think my boss would kill me if I took any more time than I already have... Ooooh so tempting though..
It was soooo exciting last year that my sister-in-law (who lives in Vegas where it was held) signed up to be a demo under me (I'm in Seattle area)on the 2nd day. She just had to be a part of this year's convention. She'll be joining me and our large group of Busy Bees in Orlando.
It was a bit overwhelming last year (well, ALOT) but worth every second. I learned invaluable info about running my business, cool new techniques in the classes and did awesome make and takes. And who knows what they'll give us this year. Last year we ALL got a Happiness is Stampin' Up! stamp and inspiration sheets and great discounts on stamp sets. Tons of lucky stampers got free stamp sets and lots of other free things (SU! is very generous). The experience is worth it.
I sure hope I meet lots of you there! I'm hoping that I can absorb some of your creativeness through osmosis. You all are the BEST and make SU! the GREATEST stamping company out there!!!
Well, everyone have a great time! I can't go this year, but I'll see you next year in Salt Lake!

I am going but will be remembering those of you who cannot go for various reasons. In particular, my heart goes out to those who cannot make it because of their husbands/family members being away on military assignments.
Mine comes back (hopefully) a week or two before convention. He knows where he is on my priority list....
Anyways, I am really excited! Hopefully I can spot many of you!
I will be at convention and CAN'T wait until July 12th gets here. This will be my fourth convention. I missed it when it was in SLC the last time because our school year was ready to start before convention was over. I am so thankful that SU moved the dates of convention so that I can be there.
Each Demonstrator should get to experience Convention at least once. This will be my fourth and I am as excited as if it were my first. The last 2 years I worked the Make and Take tables. This year I will just be taking it all in!
Ohhh, I am so jealous of all of you. I couldn't get the Friday of that week off from work so I can't go & it is driving me crazy!!! Please, please please, please & pretty please share what you learn & all the samples! Did I say pretty please!!!! This would be my first time & I am soooo bummed out. Those of you who are going are going to have a great time. What could be better then spending all that time stamping & being around all the creativity? Enjoy!!!!
This is my first convention and I am very excited! I joined in May 2003 and at that time it was already booked so I was unable to go. From what I have heard it really gives a jump start to everyone's business. Maybe I'll see some of you there!
Yes, I get to go to my very first Stampin' Up! convention - I am soooo excited - can you tell?!? Let's figure out some type of "signal" that we are Splitcoaststampers - maybe something in the melon, lavender and gray color tones like viewed here on the internet. Any thoughts???
