Default Where/How do you store your finished cards?

I have this massive stack of cards just sitting on the hutch in our dining room right now because I have no clue where to put them or how to store them so that I can find the one I need. How do you store yours?

I bought the snap together plastic card storage box from SU. It comes with plastic dividers to keep them organized. I love the size of it- it fits right on my shelf. I really like it- it holds a lot of cards!

I use photo storage boxes I bought at a craft store for under $5 each! They have dividers in them, too!

I have used albums (didn't like), photo storage boxes (good) and plastic bins (Good) The best of those 3 is the photo in my opinion. However, my Christmas present this year was something I have really wanted to keep my cards in. I will put the link here. You will see it in the background on right. I love it! I understand that not everyone has room for it but it keeps the cards, gift sets, etc, from getting bent and/or worn and is easy for me to see what I have and has lots of room for organizing.

I made myself one of the lunch box tins. This one is from Oriental Trading Company and really holds a ton! (**plus it's just so cute, imho**!)

I also find that I can easily take it out of my room to the family room when I'm looking for a card for an occasion, very portable, so that's a bonus.

Oh, i forgot to say that I also have one of the large padded frames with ribbon criss crossed across it from Michael's (coupon) hanging over my stamping area. I like to put my latest and greatest out so I can think,"Wow, did I do that?"! Then I put them in the box as new ones are created.

I don't have a lot of cards but I keep them in a clear shoebox container. It is easy for my small space.

I use a photo box for mine too. I love photo boxes. I can get fun colors/patterns and they're relatively inexpensive. I have 2 that hold ribbon, 2 that hold images from PIF image swap and Rak and some for cards. They come with dividers and are the perfect size if you make standard cards. (Note: The patterns on the ones that hold the ribbon are different than the patterns on the ones that hold images and the patterns on the ones that hold cards are also unique to themselves. That way you can find them easier - but I label them too)

I've also seen card organizer boxes too - usually at stores like Hallmark or Target -that would work as well. Photo boxes are on sale at AC Moore and Michael's this week if you decide to go that route.

I bought a Sterilite plastic rectangular container with a lid (tupperware-like) from Walmart for $2.00 then added in index card dividers. Categorized by card type i.e. Anniversary, Birthday, etc. It works great for invitation size cards. I took a couple of cards to Walmart with me to make sure they would fit.

I got one of those through a class I did with my demo and I really like it. I found one that's essentially identical (I can't tell the difference) at Target in the Scrapbook section for $8. Love it!

I have some cards in photo boxes and some in an oval tin planter from Ikea. I make my cards downstairs and bring them upstairs to photograph, so I needed a place to store them while upstairs. It's a mess right now, but it works for what I need it to.

At Bj's I found "card" boxes. They are rather large but work well. Can fit 2 cards across and many back. I haven't counted how many I can store in one yet. They also come with dividers.

I use the same $2 Sterlite boxes from WalMart as Misty. I added dividers with tabs that I made using the SU! punch. I keep two boxes. One has cards I've made that are ready to use; the other holds cards I've received from other stampers and cards that I made at two shoebox swaps.

I use a photo box too. It has dividers in it so that I can divide by Birthday, Thank you, holidays, etc. I also have a memory board up on the wall to put cards that I get from family and friends who stamp so that I can look up there for inspiration.

Oooh, I'm going to try that! That way I can actually organize them by theme. Now I just have them in this basket/bucket type thing.

I actually ordered the tag punch kit a few years back just for the box

Sad, but true.

I actually bought these nice "boxes" from Ross. They were on sale for 2.99, 3.99 and 4.99 for the various sizes. I have them stacked on shelves in my stamp room and used the oval punches/brads to create labels for the front to identify the "type" (birthday, thank you,, baby, thinking of you, etc) of cards that are inside. They are similiar to the photo boxes but a little bigger so they hold the cards nicely. I have tried many things but this has worked to keep me organized

I put mine in clear plastic bags first then into a box. One from the newsagency that has pretty flowers on it.
