Hi, I finally did what I should have done many months ago. I organized my craft closet. I had no idea how much stuff was in there until I went through all that stuff. omg! I had rubber stamps that I never used and paper that is probably out of style...lol. However I got through it all. Now I am stuck want to start making things, but don't know exactly how to get started. It's like I have crafters block or something. I guess what I want to know is has anyone experience crafters block and how do you come out of it. I appreciate any ideas and advice. Sorry for the long post and hope this makes sense to all.
I have gone to the gallery and searched for a particular stamp that I have and cased what others have done with that image and then go from there. I also like going to the sketch challenge and seeing what I can do with different images and supplies that I have lying around. HTH
The challenges here on SCS are great ways to get you stamping. These challenges give you a starting point, which I love. For example, the Clean and Simple (CAS) challenges tells you to have lots of blank space and then they give you something more, i.e., a sketch or an inspiring website. Very fun and it's fun to see how everyone's ideas are different but still alike. Love that.

Growing through challenges
Ditto on all of the above mentioned suggestions. Another thing I do is I take one sketch from the challenges, and then make several cards with different pattern papers. Sometimes I use the same image, sometimes not. Or I may take one stamp and make several cards using that image but different papers or layouts.
Just a couple of weeks ago, I made a bunch of card bases. same layout, different papers. No images yet, but at least I have a start for when I get in the image making mood.
My first thought was to check the galleries here. I like the suggestions of doing sketch challenges and such, but when I'm REALLY in a stampers funk, I go to the gallery. I find a relatively simple layout I like and CASE it. After doing a few times of copying someone else's work, the creative juices start to flow again and I start seeing how I would add my own personal touches to other designs. Pretty soon, the juices are flowing so well, that I don't need "help" from looking at other sources at all.
When that happens to me I spend an evening looking through stamping magazines. It always inspires me and gives me new ideas, even if the magazines are older isssues. I like the gallery here too, but I prefer to sit in my favorite chair with a cup of tea and a magazine!
Check the sketch patterns here and start making up sets of cards with your old paper designs. If you get lots, you can always donate them to the cards for troops or some other organization.

I print off pictures of the cards here. I try to copy and even if it doesn't turn out as nice it is still pretty....and I get tons of compliments. YOu can try it this way and good luck.
Maybe start with those occasions you know you will need a card for in the near future....birthdays, anniversaries, etc. That will get the mojo flowing. I usually get ideas for OTHER cards while I have one in progress in front of me....keep a notebook or piece of scrap paper nearby to jot down or sketch your ideas.
