Default wheel storage question

Does anyone have the roller stamp caddy from CDJ Designs? I was looking for some pros and cons if anyone does. I realize it doesn't have jumbo wheel storage but was wondering if they could be stored underneath. Here is the website...

Thanks!

I looked at them but the price made me buy the storage containers from SU.. I like how they stack and can see the designs very easily through the boxes.

Default Guess I'm cheap!

I took white card stock...rolled the wheels over it to show what is inside...put this around a cleaned out Pringles can and have really cheap and easy wheel storage!

I love their stamp pad holder, but was disappointed in the wheel holder that my friend purchased. True it does not hold the jumbo wheels and takes up a bit of space.

The other thing I did not care for was that if left out (on counter, shelf) the wheels may get dusty. I don't need anything else to dust!

I was using Velveeta boxes in Iris cart drawers. I just received my SU clear boxes and must say I LOVE them!

Being a storage/organizer fanatic...the amount of empty space not being used underneath where the wheels sit nixed this one for me----so my answer is...uh, NO, don't love it!

I'd go with the SU Storage boxes...they are clear, the wheels lay all in a row, and the boxes are easily stackable

Default use copy paper

I use Pringles cans for wheel storage as well, but I use copy/typing paper for putting around the cans. I found SU's cardstock to be too stiff which makes it start to peel away after a while, plus I'd rather not use the "good stuff" on that kind of thing. Just my $.02.

Smile Pringles

Just bought my can of pringles. Dumped them in a ziploc baggy and washed my container out and will decorate tomorrow.

Thanks for the great idea. I am a stay at home mom, so anything cheap helps. I would love to buy Stampin Up container, and maybe I will with my demo's discount.

Thanks again!

I just did this a few days ago. It works great!! And, I like the idea that the wheels aren't exposed to the light. It's like those pringle cans were made to hold wheels!

I have used the Pringle cans for a year now and I much perfer the SU boxes now that I have them. You can easily see what is in there and they are so neat and tidy looking and the boxes stack great!! The cans always seemed to be the first thing to tip over on me :(

I really like the new boxes, but mine are stored on June Tailor spool holders that I got at Joanne's. They hang on the wall and every other dowel holds one wheel. I had looked at the CDJDesigns one and my main objection was the amount of table space it took up. The other nice thing about the spool holders are they cost $12, but I can use a coupon to get them for much less.

I got the boxes just to take to demo's at people's houses. My main objective is to get those that "collect" wheels to buy them to store and see how easy it is to take back and forth!!
