I have an ipod and I love it, but when I'm in my stamping room, I just stream music over the internet radio station at www.pandora.com. It's free, and you can create radio stations based on an artist or music genre. Or you can listen to the thousands of stations that already exist. So, depending on my mood, I can hear anything at any given time.
I reserve my ipod for the car, and the gym.
I just checked out the site you mentioned above. I've never heard of/used a service like this.

Ohhhhh - LOVE the Ipod. Don't leave home without it. And for those of you who don't have a docking station, you don't need one to listen to your ipod without earbuds, the earbud jack at the top of the ipod works with any set of speakers that has a jack (like computer speakers). That was all I used for years before I got the dock.
Here is a tip for your ladies who have tons of CD's that are basically useless once you download all your songs on your IP ;)
Go and sell them on half.com. I had over 200 CD's and I put them all on the Ipod (have an 80 GIG) and never used the CD's anymore, they were just collecting dust. I backed up the Ipod to make sure I never lost the songs, and then sold the CD's on half. I have made well over 300 dollars (granted I did have some CD's that went for a lot money, the harder to find ones) Many are listed at .75 cents, those I didn't bother with, but if you find some listed higher, mark yours down 10 cents less then the highest seller and you can make some money!
My computer is in my craft room so I usually put my itunes on the shuffle mode and listen that way. I get to hear a lot of songs I'd forgotten about (I have over 2000 songs on my itunes.....and with the $50 itunes gift card I got for Christmas,,well I'll have a ton more). I did load most of my cds onto itunes and I've also gotten a lot from my local library and imported them as well. I listen mostly to blues (anyone else a blues fan out there??), 60's,70's classic rock but have some folk and big band jazz mixed in....I use my ipod nano for walking outside and it's great for trips..just got back from a trip south and it's wonderful to lose yourself in all your music.
My music favs: Johnny Winter, Dave Mason, Tab Benoit, Robert Cray, Bad Company, Steve Winwood, Santana...

LOVE the blues! Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Bobby Bland, Gov't Mule, Eric Clapton, Keb' Mo', Sue Foley, Stevie Ray, BB King....on and on - AND Big band! Love Bad Company too - we probably have the same playlists LOL.
I like all and any kind of music, from New Age and classical to Metallica though. I'm a versatile type of music girl.
Oh MishB...I think we might have the same playlist..:cool: forgot about KWS..he is awesome...and also Jonny Lang and Joe Bonamassa...Love those guys! They make for great stamping inspiration.
I have just a regular old mp3 player, but it's filled with songs. Ususally though when I'm making cards I listen to the yahoo launchcast radio, it's like pandora - you pick your favorite genres and rate the songs that come up. I listen to Classical (renaissance and baroque my favorite periods ) love anything New Age, Celtic or Folk. Sometimes after I hear a great old folk song that I like, I run downstairs and grab one of my guitars ....... and then there goes the day......and the sewing, and the card making. I love the Windham Hill label, and sometimes I'll order that for the piano.
Oddly, I never listen to music when I'm sewing. I think because it requires too much concentration on my part.If I start to get distracted on a sewing project, well I can screw up something that I've worked on for 6 months, or spent alot of time and money on. Papercrafting is like a no-brainer. It's paper and glue, it's cheap, and it's over in about an hour. I love to have the music on for that. Making cards is an utterly delightful way to spend time.
