Red face Whats the best way to colour Bellas???

Hi as you can tell I am new to this stamping thing and I have recieved a stack of bella images of the wonderful ladies in the Wish RAK. But I am too scared I am going to run them by dodgy colouring attemps. Do you know any tried and true ways to make them look great? would love to know
thanks Ladies and big Smiles to all

personally, I use the Prismacolor pencils and blend with mineral spirits and a paper stump.

I have seen others use copic or Prismacolor markers as well as watercolor pencils too...so I don't think there is a "wrong" way to color in a bella! LOL

I agree with Lisa on this one. I usually use Prismacolors and Gamsol but I have also watercolored. Chances are though no one sent you images stamped on watercolor paper so I wouldn't suggest trying that method. Try paper piecing too! A lot of the Bella's look great paper pieced!

Prismacolors & odorless mineral spirits are my fave.

I used either my watercolor crayons or my prisma pencils. Just depends on my mood.

I just use my watercolor crayons and a blender pen or a damp brush, works great for me!

I either use my prismacolor markers or pencils with baby oil to blend.

Well I have up till now used my prismacolor pencils and zest-it (alternative in the UK to Gamsol) and loved them, but have just treated myself to a few watercolour crayons (from UK) called Neocolour II and I love them, I coloured my Winobella on this card using a watercolour crayon and it was sooo easy, I used the aquapainter pen and my watercolour crayon and hey presto it was done in seconds

I just got my prismacolors and don't have an OMS yet, so I haven't tried that.

I tend to watercolor them using reinkers and an aqua brush.

Prismacolor pencils and OMS....LOVE the way this looks! Or I'll use my blender pen and ink from the lid of the pads.

I just use a blender pen because I don't have anything else, and I think it works great. Start by going light first and then fill in with darker shading. Have fun

I picked up the copics little by little and love using them on the Bellas --- they are so easy and vibrant!
