What is your worst addiction re stamping products?
I think I have a problem. (Kind of kidding , kind of not) I say I'm done buying supplies and then a new release comes out. My latest addiction is card kits and Christmas stamps....I have more Christmas stamps then I could ever use, especially given that I maybe send 10 card total. I think after the first of the year I am really going to get strict with not buying anymore (ha,ha). Anyways, what is your obsession? Is there one thing in particular. I'm a matchy matchy person so kits are perfect for me. I tend to make more when I have kits for some reason.

I am addicted to organizing - there, I've said it! I go through phases as far as which actual supplies I might "binge" on, but I'm CONSTANTLY tweaking how everything is stored/organized! I really, truly do need an intervention...

I have a thing about the Recollections colored card stock packs that you get at Michaels. They have them on sale frequently, and I just can't resist!

Based on the amount of cardstock I sorted into colour families on Monday, and the fact that I have a full drawer of full packs yet to be opened, I am right there with you!

So many addictions. I think I have finally curbed my Graphic 45 paper obsession. I am coming late to the stamp, well not late I did it 20 years ago and "got over it" then BAM!!!! I am hooked on Tim Holtz crazy birds and cats, no dogs YET. And I am loving Julie Nutting's dolls.

I don't yet need intervention for it, but I, too, love to organize my craft supplies! Each time I reorganize, I see once again items hidden away I had forgotten about, and old things become new and exciting to me again!

This isn't entirely stamping, but I do use these on cards. I adore vintage buttons. I have them in jars to display, because they are so lovely to look at.
Once in a while I do use one. . .LOL

Dies and matching stamps, especially if they are only available for a limited time, and just dies in particular, oh, and embossing folders too. Oh and flower stamps, I definitely need a twelve step intervention program (after I receive the three SU bundles I just ordered lol)

I go in "phases" .. just like industries tend to do ... but not in their sequence at all, as I rarely jump onto a brand new something-or-other when it first screeches out the CHA door. I observe for a while. I think my wallet has come to appreciate that approach and I try to stick with it.
But ... when I'm into embossing, I stash up on embossing powders.
Or if it's 'texture time' for me ... I need more embossing folders, please!
The one I dislike is that urge to "have all the dsp's" ... I have worked very hard with self to "let that go"! Much better this year ... but still improvements to make for sure. So in summary ... I guess it's a product binge here & there. Sort of like when I was in high school and ate nothing but salad.

Hmmm...probably my Copic markers-love, love, love them. Then probably a tie between all my paper, die/stamp bundles, and my bazillion embossing folders. Most of the paper is Bazzill 12 x 12, and came from a yard sale over 7 years ago-thousands of sheets, plain, texture, glitter, shimmer...and at a penny a sheet-I bought all she had-what a score!! (3 trips to the car) My girlfriend thought I was nuts...No, I told her, just a crafter who LOVES a great bargain!

Thanks! You all just made me feel better haha! I can't put my finger on "stuff" I just have copious amounts of. What I am addicted to is needing to have music on when I make cards. Cannot do it in silence. In summer it is country music. From now til Christmas it is Christmas jazz or instrumental. In the winter it is usually contemporary Christian worship music.
Oh and I have to have chocolate nearby high 5 Leslie!

3) Card stock.
4) Ink pads, SU, CTMH, Hero Arts, Cats eyes. (the small ones)

My addictions themselves seem to ebb and flow.
Years ago, it was counted cross stitch. I was working on one protect, and buy three more, start on the next project and buy 5 more.....always looking for the next best thing.
Then I went to a Stampin Up! Workshop and the stamping addiction began. I mostly collected SU stamps, but bought a few elsewhere.
Then I started with scrap booking, so papers and stickers were weekly purchases.
Of course I continued with stamps.
Next came yarn. I had to always look for a good deal on yarn to add to my stash. I've successfully curbed that.
Then came ribbon. I had ribbon before, but I found a ribbon craft, and really started buying up the ribbon.
The only craft I never work on now is counted cross stitch. But I'll go on a card making binge or a crochet binge or a ribbon craft binge, and the others are set aside for a while. It is overwhelming.
I love it all!

So glad I'm not alone! An intervention is needed, but I'd probably resist all efforts to reform me.Dea

For way too long it was 12x12 paper, now I am drowning in it. Lately, my main purchases have been dies and framelits and Christmas stamps. I purged big time for a move last year and I have been pretty good about not buying too much.

I can so relate to your post. I like to make cards, crochet, and sew. I seem to go in spells about buying supplies. Paper and stamps, yarn, and fabric.
Luckily, none of these things have expiration dates! They can wait patiently until my next inspiration/obsession hits.

Raises hand for "another" organiser here!
I love using paper-tole images on my cards and now that they have diecut images so it is a lot quicker and less fiddly - I can't tell you how many sheets or a series collection that I have. I particularly love the Tatty Teddy, Wellington Bear, Forever Friends (bear) and bird images I have - not to mention Christmas ones as well.
I find it so hard to pass up a new Christmas 6 x 6 paper pad & I have to try and make a point of NOT looking at too many of the new releases because I really do have enough! And of course, many companies now have matching brads, buttons, ribbon, rhinestones etc. etc. It sure is a slippery slope.............

At the moment...Washi tape, stamps, planner stuff, pens, fabric...
But it changes often. There for a while I was buying different paints to play around with. Now I just need time to use them.
I've been in my house for over a year and my craft room is still not finished. I need an organizer to visit my house and organize my craft stuff for me.

Organize! Organize! Organize! Just moved into our new home and I have been setting up the Craft Coloring Studio! That is my addiction at the moment!
Last weekend I sorted the Vintage Buttons from my Mom's button box. It brought back wonderful memories and a few tears of joy!
Also, Christmas stamps, new ink colors and cardstock! I am ready for the coloring to begin!

I have a Silhouette Cameo so it cured me of buying dies. But I do get a lot of cut files for the Cameo. They are lots cheaper than dies @ 40-99 cents or many free cut files! I have a ton of 12x12 paper to use in my machine to make 3D projects. I volunteer at kindergarten so cut lots of stuff for 27 kids. Used to buy lots of K&Company paper but I don't see it in stores.

Oh, dear...this thread may be never-ending. I kind of go in cycles, but not necessarily trends. Although the coloring trend I'm enjoying. Of course, that means I need more colored pencils, which will also be used in my card-making. My stamping has expanded to include Mixed Media playing, so I always need more acrylic paint. I bought a Gelli Arts monoprinting plate, which means I "need" more paint and stencils. And don't we always need more stamps?...

I saw 2 different K& Company paper pads at Tuesday Morning this week.
One store also had some embellishments.

My biggest addition that I'm working on curbing is watching YouTube videos on crafting...closely followed by my Lawn Fawn addition! I'm pretty good about everything else, for example, I banned myself from any more Christmas stamps since I have plenty (but already regret not getting the Lawn Fawn Happy Howlidays set that was only available in September on Simon Says Stamp!)

Right now I am buying lots of dies from ebay! They are so inexpensive, I can't resist! I also am big time into embossing folders. I only buy them when they are on sale! I have a Silouhette machine but I haven't used it in a long time. I have so many cut files that I am ashamed that I am not using them!
