My first set was Watercolor Minis about a year and a half ago. I got it because I "thought" I'd be making "little" cards. I still love that set -- it is sooo versitile.

Mine was Cuddles & Tickles ... I still love it and I STILL use it! I bought it to make announcements for DS#2 (he's 4 1/2 now)! I love the little feet in that set

My first set was called Border Builders, but it was the first set with this name. I'm pretty sure that there is another set with the same name. My set has 12 very small stamps, some are pieces of lace and ribbon that you stamp next to each other, to create longer pieces of lace and ribbon borders. It also has flowers and small swirls in the set. There isn't even a gallery on SCS for this set. I'll have to play with it to see what I can do with it! I don't remember ever coming up with anything nice with it. Although, truthfully I might not have ever used it!

My first stamp was 1996-1997 called Santa Tag. I loved him then and love him still today. While purusing all of the catalogs to find the name of that stamp I'm thinking SU offered more of a variety of Christmas stamps then than they do now. And then I couldn't believe how many stamps that are in the current catalog were in catalogs 10 years ago!

I bought simple sketches...and have barely used it. I need to find the picture that inspired me so I can figure out why I got it.

I bought Cool Cat on ebay about 6 months ago. I didn't know anything about SU at that time. I just got it because I love cats!

My first set in 2005 was Purrfect, because I love cats. I haven't done much with it as it's one that you would watercolor, I should dust it off and try again since I've been playing around with watercoloring. About that time I also got Fresh Flowers.

Maternal Instincts. I learned how to do heat embossing with this stamp at the first SU party I attended. Thought it was breathtaking.

I have to say that Wild About You is my most used stamp set. I love it, it was probably the 3rd or 4th set I bought. I've been buying sets for about a year and my first was Sweet and Sassy from last year's catty.

I have a "Thanks" stamp with a little flower on it that says "Stampin' Up 1997" on it and a "Congrats!" stamp that has 1996 for the date. I don't know if they were part of sets or if that is far enough back that they had them individually...

My first sets were favorite teddy bear and seaside sketches. I have since traded both of them away...lol. I remember being so nervous when I ordered them that I wouldn't use them and now I am addicted to the rubbah!

my first set was a little love...

my husband bought a box full of SU! supplies that had been donated to a local charity that has a televised auction to raise funds for the needy at christmas time in our area. i didn't even know what i had...

until i made friends with a gal a year or more later and she started showing me all these cards she makes... and i said i think i have some of 'this stuff' in a box at home!

and the rest is history!!! i have been addicted ever since!

My first set was New Beginnings. I made bridal shower invitations with that one. I ordered Night of Navy cardstock along with Brushed Silver. I used the silver Encore stamp pad. I'm telling ya, I wouldn't want anyone to see that one now!!! I also got a SAB set at the same time but can't for the life of me remember which it was. It was a loooong time ago!!!

What a fun question! My first stamp sets were Fresh Flowers, Tropical Blossoms and another one I can't remember. My fiance had gone to a yard sale a couple of years back and brought home a sterlite container full of those stamps, ink, markers and more. Bought it all for 10 bucks...... and I just left it sitting in my closet til I was home sick one day. Decided to haul it out and play.... and haven't stopped stamping since!

Funny how much I came to hate both those sets. LOL

Oh Geez! I can't remember the name of it. It was a winter scene with some buildings and a skating pond. I used it for my Christmas cards one year. Does anyone remember the name?

The first time I heard of Stampin' Up! was in March 1999. I signed up in May 1999. That first party, I got a black stamp pad, the old pastels that were each packaged individually & arranged on this flimsy artist palette, and the "We've Moved" Birdhouse stamp. I thought I'd get a lot of mileage from that as an Army wife. I got rid of it a few years back because I thought for sure it would be replaced with something even better. I like "Right at Home", but now it's going too!

I wish I could remember the name of mine -- maybe someone can help out! It was all done in brushstrokes and had a wicker-like basket with various kinds of blooms and leaves. I sold it a couple of years ago because I never used it...now, of course, I'm kinda wishing I hadn't.

Any suggestions on what this set was called?
