What is your favorite kid-themed set (new or old)?
After having two boys in the last 21 mos, I've decided it is totally unfair of SU! to not allow new moms to buy retired kid-themed sets. ;) I now am finding sets like Bow Wow, Party Animals, By Land, Circus Train, etc. VERY desirable, despite never giving them a second glance before. UGH!
So my question to you is, what are your favorite sets that are kid-appropriate? What else have I missed out on that I will now be forced to buy for obscene amounts of $$ on ebay  ?
I have 2 boys also...Toy Box is one of my faves...lots of variety, great for boys! Others I use a lot are Circus Train and Ahoy Matey. I purposely got In the Stars from the latest mini to use for my boy stuff too...I am still on the lookout for By Land, Going Somewhere, Going Someplace, DD Airplane and some of the old train sets (can't think of their names right now!). Good luck on your search!

My young nieces (ages 3, 5 and 7) are into animals and like to stamp with me, so a few favorites:
dog ones (current and retired; especially Canine Capers)
cat ones (current and retired; especially Purrfect)
horse sets (Bareback and Equestrian)
and Sergenti (elephants, lions, etc.) T
They also love sea animals (Silly Sealife and Fishy Friends).
Finally, they like making birthday cards for their friends, especially since all of them are having birthday parties, which they go to so (Bold Birthday,
Perfect Party, Sketch a Party) are a few favorites.
Thankfully I did have the foresight to buy Fishy Friends before it retired. It's killing me that I seriously considered buying Circus Train when it was on the retired list and then thought, "Nah...". Live and learn I guess. I also just purchased Ahoy Matey, and I have Meow Meow as well.
Another vote for Toy Box! It's a very versatile set. I've made many cards for adults using images from that set.
For example, the bug in the magnifying glass makes a great Get Well card. The outside says, 'Heard you caught a bug....', and the inside says, 'Let it go!'

2 I think I will never get rid of Crayon kids ( also crayon fun and the alphas that go with them) and Smile ( and their 2 accessories sets)
I can do a million kid pages and cards, especially since my 2 seem to come home with a birthday invite once a week!!
Go for crayon kids, I have even done wedding cards with it!

I forgot all about Smile! I have that and Smile Some More and the Accessories. Someone also mentioned Bugs and Kisses, which I traded for a month or so ago. I guess I have more than I thought I did!
Wild About You is on my wish list. I'll definitely get that before it retires.
I love Zoofari! The zebra is so adorable; I just made my DDs bday invites with the rhino. I like all the animals in it, actually. All of these other sets sound cute, too, although I'm not familiar with many of the retired ones.
Also, I just wanted to let y'all know that I was inspired to start a kid-card themed swap this morning. The requirement is super easy at just 5+1 cards, and it's due mid-May. Here's the link if anyone is interested in putting these sets to good use!!
