All the cartridges that Cricut makes and everything in the Stampin' Up! catalog! Oh yeah, every Cuttlebug embossing folder out there! Also another book shelf for my crafting room. And no, I don't store books on it.
Sign me,
Another Minnesotan ;)
Now i'm dreaming.
I would buy all the neat storage boxes and a new desk, and really turn my
spare room into a craft room. Then i would buy all the things i have wanted.
All the spellbinders that i like, stamps that i have been putting off buying.
Copic markers, i really want to try them, but just can't right now. And all
the paper and ribbon i could get my hands on.
I could use some new shelf units for paper storage and a few stamps and things I have seen, but I am afraid even I would have trouble sending that much in 30 days!

my basement craft room didn't already look like a stamp store??? But if I HAD to I think the best use I could make of that kind of money would be hire an organizer to get my current stash in order....and maybe help me set up a system to include all the awesome new goodies I would have to get to spend the rest of the dinero! Of course, I guess it would mean purchasing everything I don't already own from the SU catty and of course, that would mean all the remaining Big Shot dies. Of course, I would invest in a LOT of cardstock, plain envies and clear envies to use for Cards for the Troops projects, too.
What a fun thread....not practical at all of course hey, if I had to sacrifice myself I could do it and it would probably earn the Stampin' Up! cruise for the first time ever! lol!
Hmmm, I wonder how much it would cost to put a lighted heated sidewalk and a few steps (it's a sloping lot with a walk out basement) around the side of my house so my stampers could come around to the basement door instead of having to come in thru the house and come right thru the family room enroute down to the basement. The heating element would be so I wouldn't have to shovel snow or contend with ice in the winter! Safety first, ya know? ;-) Jan
What a fun question! If I have that kind of money to spend on my hobby, I will remodel the old detached garage and convert it to my own "play house", so I can have a place to "get away" that's only a few steps from home. Right now, it's mainly used for storage, but definitely not "livable" because it's really old and has leaks and stuff. That would be my ultimate craft satisfaction. If there's any moolah left over, I'll buy more Nestabilities, Martha Stewart punches and more and more stamps that I can't afford at the moment
I would make a deal with different resorts around the United States, a different state each month to rent out space and rooms at a discount to the first 50 stampers and we could have a week-end stamping blast. Also make a deal with different stamp companies to host stamping classes. Of course to spread it around there could be no repeats, each stamper would get a chance.
I could make those deals and spend all that money at one time, make stampers happy and dealers too. The dealers could help with the food expenses if they were generous, or maybe a local chain resturant or cooking school would like to donate for the advertisement alone. DREAM BIG!!!
i'd def invest in a purpose built craft room. i've seen loads of rooms that have been fitted out properly. mine is the spare bedroom so has to be packed away every now and again to accomodate the outlaws!
i'd love a workdesk, a cutting station, purpose built shelving and a good paper store and stamp storage.
think after that i'd invest in craftrobo lessons so i can get it out of the box and use it to its fullest potential!
then of course i'd be investing in the rest of the copics, and soe new stamps. wouldn't want to spend it all tho, cos new stuff keeps coming out and i' be well fed up if i'd spent it all and i couldn't afford the new stuff!
of course i have far too much patterned paper to buy any more but i bet i would!!!
If there was anything left over after I revamped my craft space and restocked it I would set up a craft area exclusively for the kids so they leave my toys alone ;)
I'd hire an organizer to tear my craft room (12 x 12) apart and rebuild with matching shelving, cupboards, etc. A place for everything, and everything in it's place. Then I'd TRY to keep it that way. HA!

I would go on vacation to Cabo for a little r&r and inspiration. Then I would come back and hire an organizer to re-organize my craft room so that I would know what I have and where it is ... and I'd have him/her "make it pretty" while they were at it! I would buy a new computer and flat screen tv for my craft room ... and a Bose surround sound system to listen to fabulous music ... and I would craft happily ever after!

LOL! OMGEEEEEE, $15,000.00???? Even I don't know if I could spend that much on craft stuff (could I buy clothes and shoes too??????? hahahaha). I would re-do my studio for sure if that was allowed. I'd be able to buy all the pottery barn stuff that I can't afford!!!!! As far as actual crafting supplies I don't even know!!!! I'm all SU so I guess just all the stuff that is on my wish list...which really isn't that long since I seem to buy most of what I want:-)
I live in an apartment, so my 2nd bedroom is an office and storage (only) place for all my crafts. (I do all my work in the living/dining room). I would invest in major organization stuff to make use of the space I have. Buy a tv and DVD player and the mounting hardware (and someone to install it) for the craft room. Then anything left over, would be for nesties (although I already own a tonne) and more stamps (have tonnes of those too but I love them!) I would also keep at least $1,000 aside for postage so I could participate in even more RAKs, BRAKS and card exchanges! Wow! What fun to imagine HAVING to spend $15,000 on crafts!! Great thread!
AHHH, someone else who watches TV while crafting?
I'd redo my craft room and just buy what I want. I know it would go fast once I start looking without guilt. I'd stock up on cardstock and adhesives too.

I watch TV while I craft too! I have so much stuff I was going to get a flat screen for more space..my hubby surprised me and got me one (way nicer and bigger that I would have gotten myself) for Christmas...I love that man:-) At some point I want it up on the wall too...although he doesn't love that idea and we always argue when we mount/hang things...that's why I haven't ordered any wedding pics yet...don't want a fight when we hang them, lol! I need to invite my step dad over to help me do it...he's good:-)
I would buy everything on my SU! dreamlist and my PTI dreamlist. Also more supplies for my Cricut including extra cartridges. And.....a wonderful new digital camera to take better pics and a newer laptop with oodles of storage for all my pics. Also maybe more movies to watch in my craft room while crafting. I don't need any more furniture as my craftroom is awesome (thanks to my sweet hubby!).
Anyone? Well, then in that case, I think I'd hire Brad Pitt to come over for a few hours just to watch me make cards and comment, "Great job!" "I really like that one!" etc.
Now my mind is working overtime. I'd hire Nate Burkus with his big blue eyes and fab smile, but he'd definately have to say the same things as Brad!

My small--10' x 12'--craft room is perfectly outfitted with oak cabinets, shelves, drawers and worktable that my very talented DH built for me according to all my specifications. I have most of the stuff I want and have room for. I usually purge a stamp for each I buy, unless it is quite specific and there is room for it in it's proper drawer. I'm an organization freak and have even helped several of my friends reorganize their areas, so don't need any thing there, either. My biggest wish is a very small laptop for all my files and for my use only (DH and I use the same one now) and a person to set it up completely--on a wall or somewhere that it wouldn't be in my way, but could been easily seen and accessed. I'm planning to order a see-through, but sun-blocking shade for my craft room. Think there would be enough to cover that. Since we are dreaming, I would like a new floor in my craft room. Mine looks nice, but is a rather cheap wood veneer that seems to water spot easily--even if cleaned up immediately. If there was anything left over, I would use it to hire Tim Holtz and other experts to give my stamping buddies and myself lessons in techniques. $15,000 seems like an awful lot, but know how fast it can go. Oh, well, we are just dreaming, right?
Since I am on a polymer clay jag at the moment, I'd hire 5 of the biggest and best polymer teachers for a week and then invite all of my guild members to participate for free- whee!
oooooh, sad thing is I think I would still have to budget myself! I would start with setting back a couple thousand so I could just go nuts over the next few minis and catalogs from SU (gotta support my own business! lol, actually i think i already spend that) But then I think I would try to find a super duper deal on a small automatic paper cutter (those start around 4 or 5 thousand) That would be sheer heaven for me. I have been eyeballing a big shot pro. The rest would go to redo my craft area into a bigger space so I could have a separate station for general stamping, scrapbooking, sewing, candle making, paperwork, and if possible a giftwrap/mailing station Now that would be the ultimate craft room for me, since we are dreaming.
Can't wait for my benefactor to show up with that check! lol
I would buy more product from wholesale companies and resale the products. After turning our master bedroom into a store/craft room I do not have anymore room available for personal use. I have way to much stuff as it is and I was told if I add anything else I and my stuff will be sent to the garage. :o(
I would love to have a full wall of storage cubbies to put stuff. I currently have peg board hanging all over the walls but sometimes some stuff just needs to be put into a cubby. :o)
I think I would get a quote on how much it would cost to taks the roof off our house and completely remodel the upstairs. I think after that remodel my kids would have a either their own rooms or a nice big room for the 2 of them. I woud have a nice large studio. Or a true master suite. Which would turn the room I use for a craft room into a true craft room. Right now it is more like a junk magnet which makes it REALLY HARD to do anything creative. I seem to end up bringing my projects to the living room or dining room.
IF that wouldn't be possible , I would hire a profeesional organizer to come in and make my craft room workable. After that, I would buy a Gazelle. Everything on my wishlist for PTI, SU, Our Daily Bread, Spellbinders and Tim Holtz. Anything left over I would probably splurge on a friend of mine that likes to craft but doesn't because it is so expensive.

I have read a lot of these and this is what I would do
Hire a housecleaning service so I could stamp without worrying about the mess
buy a new embroidery sewing machine
buy copics
buy nesties I don't have
buy Tim Holtz die cut machine and all his die cuts
then I would have to revamp my craft area. I think making the basement so my husband and I could be in the same space is a great idea. I would have a professional plan my craft area.
Actually, I think this may have gone over my budget.
I would have my living room furniture recovered so it would be gone from my living room, buy more folding tables so I could have Michelle Zindorf come to my house for her awe-inspiring brayer classes. (In reality, I'd also have my craft room redone).LOL
What an AWEsome question! How fun to read everyone's wishes. I'd rent a little space to start giving craft classes in & do some non-profit classes. (Always wanted to do that!) And I would get a Silhouette for me & the BFF (and give away my Expression, so sorry Cricut)... Get fancy software, so I could design my own professional digital images to give as freebies. Get the big Grand Spellibinders dies & machines. Replace my old inks with yummy ones. Finally shop at PaperTrey ink and other such drool-worthy places. And of course, go bonkers on Copic markers and certification for me & my BFF (cause I'd need em all for the classes and she's even more hooked on em than me, hehehe) Oh an take a class on Design. Thanks for asking such a fun question!
Redo a room in the house for my craftroom...maybe take over my husband's den and move him to the living room. Craftyland is upstairs and I'd rather be downstairs. Put in lots of drawers and uninterrupted counter space. WOW!
I would finish my creative studio. I have a 12 x 15-ish foot space plus a little additional for storage. It's a partially converted storage shed and the walls aren't finished so I would need to buy more insulation and wall material and ceiling material. I would eradicate the leak (it's back in the storage area not over my crafting area ONCE AND FOR ALL! I would also eradicate the neighbors ivy which keeps growing through the eaves of my studio. After all of that was said and done I would buy new cabinets/storage for all my stuff. That would take about 5k.....
And since I'm also and avid beader I would
buy jewelry making supplies like Swarovski crystals in just about every color, shape and size and a bunch of sterling silver findings.
A years worth of monthly visits to my chiropractor.
The perfect chair for sitting and beading (or paper-crafting). My DH has one at his office...it costs about $600. It is a dream to sit in...perfect support everywhere :-)
If I had any money left over after that then I would maybe buy some copics...they are starting to peak my interest but I'm too stingy to pay that kind of money for markers so I would require a nice windfall such as $15k :-)
Oh! I would send my family somewhere far away for a couple of weeks so I could hole up in my studio and create without any interruptions of any kind.

I couldn't spend all that on myself for crafting stuff. It would make me sick to my stomach. I'm not a Pollyanna or something, I just couldn't. I would keep 1/3, and buy all the copics in all the colors and I would get a Silhouette or maybe a cricut with all the cartridges (something that was not technically a consumable.) But the rest would have to go to my scrapbook friends who can never afford to buy anything. I guess, since I CAN afford to buy stuff, that it kinda slants the way I would feel about this. I dunno.
I'm ashamed to admit that I don't think I could do it. I love my studio just the way it is. I have SO much cardstock, ink, stamps, tools, nesties, embellishments, patterned paper, etc that I couldn't spend thousands more dollars on it. I have all the SU stamps that I want from the catty. I have all the PTI stamps that I want.
There are a few storage devices like a SU embellishment holder thingie and another stamp pad holder. And I want a few of the new Nesties coming out. But I honestly couldn't spend more than a few hundred dollars in the next month. I'm on overload as it is.
(I do other crafty stuff besides papercrafts...) If there's anything left I'd buy a Vagabond and some Tim Holtz texture fades and dies and distress inks. And some PTI dies and stamps. And Copics, maybe... Am I broke yet?
Well, I guess if Brad Pitt is going to be busy with Susan I'll have to settle for having Johnny Depp for my personal cheerleader. Oh, the sacrifices we make for our art! We will be in my new studio which will have room for my son's band to set up & record (promoting them is my other hobby!) Of course, THEY will have to pay for finishing out their half--I'm generous, but let's be realistic! teehee!
