I learned no one will disown me if I give some store bought cards

I have learned I am more creative in my mind at work than actual creating in the evening at home. Something I plan on reversing over the next year.

I have learned that I don't have to have it all. I learned that years ago about most everything but stamps. Now I know it works the same for stamps and have actually been putting it into play, much to the dismay of my SU Demonstrators (Yes, plural!)!

Default What have you learned

Over the past year I have learned that I have way to much "stuff". We moved and my stamp room is now smaller. Despite new shelving and baskets I still don't have enough room and face a downsize in my stamping toys.
At my last stamp room I had most of my stamps on shelves on every available wall space and I used them more than I do now. Not enough room due to the shelving and I guess out of sight - out of mind.

This really resonates with me. I finally took all my dies and loaded them onto magnetic sheets and hung them on the wall. Everything is visable, and I use them all the time now. I had some that were over a year old and never used. When they were all in CD cases in a drawer, out of sight-out of mind.

I've learned that organizing is a full-time job, and that's okay, if I can find where I put things! I learned I have more paper than I can ever use. I've come to terms with wanting new stamps and dies, buying them, and not feeling guilty. I love my stamping stuff, of which I have "way to much", but I love it all. I so appreciate all you SCS-ers, who are so willing to share your work and ideas, and most of all, your kindness.
