Default What do you think of these prices?

I am going to really downsize my stamps and machines.
I would like to sell my bigshot for $50 and cuttlebug for $35. The bigshot has maybe been used 1 or 2 times and the cuttle bug more. Both are in excellent working order.
I also have an embosser that probably been used at most 8 times that I was thinking of asking $125.

Thank you for your help.

Personally for used, it might be a little high. I Googled and found the Big Shot for around $80 online and the Cuttlebug for around $50 (before any coupons). I (personally) would rather buy new if the price difference is so small and avoid shipping charges. Not knowing your exact model or what accessories are included, I would suggest that you check eBay also to see what used ones actually sell for.

larue, I feel similar to Illinois Marge. On Amazon, the Cuttlebug is $54.95 with free shipping if a Prime member. I'd pay the extra $20 to get a new one and know I'd have Amazon's backing if something was wrong with it or it was damaged during shipping.

Since you're destashing, have you thought about selling a number of items together? For example, the Cuttlebug or Big Shot, a few dies and embossing folders, plus some stamps? Maybe include some ink if you mistakenly purchased the same ink twice. (Don't ask how I thought of that one.) Someone new to paper crafting might love a start-up set.

You could offer to break up your the set too, so you'd attract oldies and newbies. Good luck - I'm sure someone would enjoy your items.

I agree that they may be a bit high yet. And good idea to bundle with folders etc! I am apt to buy used when the item is at least 1/3 of the regular new price.

I am linking the thread started by annemarie1, she is looking to start stamping again and maybe you could hook her up with a gently loved CB or BS

How to restart stamping??? by TinaMarie1 at Splitcoaststampers

Is your "embosser" the Craftwell e-bosser? I recently had a sale for a group of very savvy and interested stampers, and no one looked at it for $70! One woman even said she was "saving up" for a Bigshot.

Good luck! I don't know why it's hard to sell the big items. And they are too painful and expensive to ship, too.

Thank you so much for your help. I really appreciate it and bundling sounds like a wonderful idea.

Hugs to all of you.

I can tell you this much-I got my big shot for 59 on sale and still see it that low at times. Of course I dont have the fancy one-just the basic.

Bundling sounds good to me-adds value
