After posting to the string about your favorite stamps, I began to wonder about retired stamps. What about the retired stamps.... do you have a list of favorite retired stamps you would love to see be re-issued?
Mine would be:
1. For the Love of Chocolate
2. Spirit of the Season
3. Definitely Decorative Pines
4. Cowboy Christmas
5. Times and Seasons
6. Chicken Wire Background
7. Serengeti
8. Stipple Gardenia
9. Filigree Background (my absolute favorite background)
10. The Gifts of Spring
Definately I agree with:
1. For the Love of Chocolate
2. Definitely Decorative Pines
3. Filigree Background
4. Express Yourself
5. Roughing It
6. the retired sympathy set, can't think of the name off the top of my head

This is not retired unless there is a different one. Page 136 in the catty I believe.
Thanks Paisley Princess, but Definitely Decorative Pines retired and is not the same that is the current catty. I think it was a better Pine set and had a great pine cone with it.
Location: I live in the country near Ponca City, Ok..

I have a retired Old Fashioned Christmas which is totally different the other Old Fashioned Christmas.....Mine has a house and 9 smaller pieces....no Santa Claus dated 1992....There is another Old Fashioned Christmas in the 2003-2004 catty that features a Santa and a Christmas tree which is a set of 6....Much bigger stamps than mine!
I love my Watercolor Garden 2. I am so glad to have it before it was retired. I also love my hedgehogs. I don't have shapes and shadows but wish I did. I would go perfectly with my cuttlebug asterik die cuts.
Here's my list--
1. Watercolor Garden II
2. Wonderful Wings
3. Chicken Wire Background
4. Oh So Sweet (and the chocolate chips wheel)
5. Sweet Herbs
6. Toile Blossoms
7. Tickled Pink
8. By definition Background
9. Birthday Banter
10. What's Brewin'?
I have most of these. But I think it would be totally cool if SU brought a bunch of classic retired sets back for their 20th anniversary (I think it's next year). Wouldn't that be neat?

Actually, the set you are reffering to that retired was DD PIneCONES. DD PInes is still current. And I agree, DD Pinecones was a lovely set! ;)
