this was part of an email that those of us that subscribe to Gina's blog got today. she has been KICKED! off , i am sure she meant nothing malicious and we need to get her back!!! HELP DAVIN!!! I feel so sad!!!
I am having a bad day!
1. I got booted from Splitcoaststampers! They said it was because I had multiple identities. I did. I had my GinaK and I had -tgkrupsky. That was back when I was an SU demo. So, when I resigned, I got a new SCS id because the old one let me into the demo only area and I was trying to play by the rules. I guess that got me banned. So, I'm banned. AND, it said- FOREVER.

Oh wow. Was she using both "identities" to post or did someone just run a query against the database and find two user ids to one email address or something? How was she "found out"? I use the quotes because her reason for having to user names seems very innocent to me, and multiple identities typically are for less than innocent reasons. I can't call what she has multiple identities if she just got a second user id and didn't log in with the one that had access to the demo side.
Is there a written process for having rights to the demo side reversed so other people who might choose to stop being demos don't risk being banned yet don't continue to have access to that special forum?

It's me- Gina K here. Don't make a big deal about this.
I am using my other ID. I guess this one is still active. I haven't used it because this one gives me access to the Demo side and I am no longer an SU demo. But I won't go there. I Promise- cross my heart.
I don't think I was allowed to have more than one ID and I did. I never cancelled this one when I dropped from SU, I just started a new one that could keep me out of the other side. You know how temptation works! I'm sure when Daven has time, he'll email me back and maybe he can delete this one and give back my GinaK one.
But really, I only posted that on my blog because I feel so sad about not being able to be on here and I don't think I should be using this ID because it's my demo-access one. Make sense?
I love you guys sooooo much for caring. I'm sure when Daven emails me, we'll get it all worked out- Daven, if you're out there- call me. I'll send you my phone number in an email. I am so sorry for not cancelling this one first!

Okay, this is my last post on this- Please don't anyone get upset with Daven! I emailed Keri Sereika and she forwarded it on to Daven. He said he was busy but he would look in to it. I am SURE that this will get fixed. I am not good at reading the rules. I always try to build put things together before I read the instructions. I only read them when something goes wrong. Like now.
So, I am sure this is my fault for having more than one ID and when Daven and I discuss it, it will all work out. Please, say only nice words for SCS. I love this place. It has become my home.
Now, to not violate any more rules, I will log out of this demo-accessible ID and trust that I will see you back here later, the right way! LOL

hi everyone. I've replied to gina privately just a few minutes ago.
gina was not banned for accidental or inadvertent use of another username. it had nothing to do with her tgkrupsky account at all, and nothing to do with her prior demo status. I believe that gina is fully aware of the (few) rules we ask people to abide by.

Sounds to me that Gina K is "fully" aware of what the issue is, even though she claims she does not read rules, honest mistake, etc....
There have been numerous precautionary messages regarding blogs, advertising, give a ways, etc....who knows? At some point, Daven must draw the line, and he has.
Well, let's just let Daven handle it then. I understand wanting to help someone, really I do but WE are not fully aware of what has happened (and if we are it's not our place to post about it) and so this is not our issue to discuss, KWIM? :mrgreen:
Now, if everyone is nice I *may* start a thread about all the new goodies I got, pay you ladies back for enabling me...oh and I *might* know a place that had some marvy punches in stock....:rolleyes: :mrgreen:

Just my .02 - it had NOTHING to do w/ anything like this. I can't give away details as it's not my place to say anything - but I reallyreallyREALLY hope that this issue gets resolved and that everyone understands that this issue was caused by another person and not Gina at all. That's all I can say! Daven's reply on here is adequate and he's right - if ppl have questions/concers/issues it's 100% beter to contact him rather than post on the forums.
Gina appears to be an honest person. Her advice and help to me have been invaluable. I certainly hope this can be worked out or this community will have lost yet another wonderful artist.
We have to help Gina K!!!
